  1. I am so happy that we get the reminder of our games this year to give the players a shot to prove themselves and show how poorly roster management was under Rhule. Absolute garbage that all the guys stepping up now were not used at all or just ridiculously poorly. We got rid of 2 players (one of them who is really good), had to wait for an injury at C and then everyone looks amazingly improved from that point forward...after cutting out the 2 biggest cancers.
  2. Nothing in the NFL is guaranteed. Injuries happen and draft picks bust. IDK what Burns is asking for or where a new coaching crew would play him, edge hopefully, so it is way premature to pretend anyone here knows what's best beyond guessing. My hope is to ride out the year and make those decisions after other things are decided. Even if we trade him we can franchise him after his 5th year so there is plenty of room for a trade down the line if that is the route that becomes best. I imagine there have been contract discussions or at least preliminary talks. A mega deal doesn't really excite me with where we are currently. He is a very good player but our general direction is in question leaving me thinking now is not the time to fug with the cap more in future years before we have a clear cleanup path set.
  3. Little Ceasers... The best pizza joints are not corporate, however you like your pizza.
  4. They need to put it into the CBA and I hope they decide to make that push.
  5. Looks like a less successful billionaire who made money off of predatorial practices of the poor. Other than being local, which means nothing to ME in the big picture with a person like that, he looks like another flavor of poo than the one we ended up with...just poorer. I'll save my love of ownership for when they get rid of the billionaires. Until then they are all aspects of the sport we fans have to suffer through and nothing more.
  6. Elf is on the shelf and Boze is starting like he should have been doing all year.
  7. OTs and C killing it. Keep Bozeman please! Our OGs look like a liability and is an area that could actually be upgraded but no need to blow it up. Just draft some OGs and let nature take its course. Great time to draft a rookie QB. We a finally in a good spot to protect and allow them to thrive vs survive.
  8. LOL that would be underwhelming. I think a few weeks of film brings this all back to reality. This feels like Sam at 3-0 IMO. No film with the complete switch-up only last so long. I love the competency and respect the work they are doing but the hype has already grown past the reality from 1 game after years of some of the NFL worst coaching.
  9. Baker has a hell of a tell in his throwing motion. Maybe if he got his head out of his arse he could work on that...or just washout of the NFL IDC anymore. Just don't play him regardless until we are a lock on giving up less for him.
  10. How about neither. If Wilks can't find better people then he should not be in consideration for the HC gig.
  11. Don't act like Josh McDaniels didn't have the history to prove he is a terrible HC and really good OC under BB before he got that job. That was always going to fail and they deserve it for being that dumb about it all. Have you seen Wilks coaching tree/possible staff with ties? It doesn't look good on the offensive side unless we go back a couple of decades of NFL play. McD is already on his Wilks type OC this year and will probably be on his next one next year. Even with Allen that puts them in tough spot moving forward. Defensive HCs are just handicapped in this NFL though that doesn't mean every offensive guy will make a good HC.
  12. Erving the tutor is awesome but a 5th at this point is a giant win. Anderson sounds like a nobrainer.
  13. He could make a good DC but we are not winning a SB with him as a HC. He is great for now because he comes from the Rivera school of football but that isn't what I want to see again in my lifetime as a HC. Good dude, great shortterm option and bad long term option.
  14. Hated missing on Slater but Ickey is looking like he can be a great long term answer for us.
  15. It was what it should have been 3 years ago. Basic with good fundamentals while working with what you got. It's called basic NFL competency and we haven't seen it on the field in some time. That should be the floor going forward.
  16. Yes but at the game it felt like the Bucs were having a 4 quarter stroke outside of a couple of plays. Didn't feel like great football but better and a lot more fun. Leftwhich pretty much proved why he should not be inconsideration for a HC job yet. Yikes and I was looking forward to seeing what he can do the rest of this year in relation to our search.
  17. As a QB? Not a chance at this time. As a rodeo clown for sideline entertainment at home games? Worth a pitch to Tepper.
  18. It will now be a lot more fun to watch but I wouldn't go more than harder to beat going forward. We are still on path to pick top 5. Run the ball, play good D and pray. That is our gameplan and it is beatable. It is a lot better not being the gimme game on every other team's schedule. One win and people are losing their damn minds. I was at the game so I know I missed a lot but this much hype for this team just screams reality check needed...or incoming.
  19. Boz didn't disappoint and was again proof that if you were a Rhule guy, you are the wrong guy. He should have been starting all year. BC is great in the passing game but he is still a liability in the run game. He looks like the biggest weakness on the line and that is a great problem to have for a team that has had years of crap oline play. We are finally looking like a team that has what it needs to develop a young QB.
  20. I have no problem with Corral coming in to compete for a roster spot. Relying on a guy who looked really bad and then hit IR before the season started would be a bad strategy. If we draft a guy at the top of the draft, and we will, then it shouldn't even be a competition unless they draft poorly. It's Ickey and BC all over again from this year. All we did was waste time and reps to get ready for game 1, there should never have been a competition. Play Ickey or you are already admiting you fugged up so just give him the reps. Unless we trade back then play the rookie or you fugged up. If they like Corral so much then don't sign a vet.
