    It's funny some people using the Canes as a reason why they follow hockey more and the Panthers less now. Where were y'all pre-2019 lol. To be fair, watching the Canes have won it all before, it's a little bit different. But the Canes have suffered just as much if not more than the Panthers even with a Cup win.

    He'd probably be owed like a bajillion dollar buyout if he isn't fired for cause. Then we would have to pay for a whole new coaching staff when already have a bunch of dead weight garbage on the roster we have to pay next year. Just because Tepper is one of the richest owners in sports doesn't mean he's not a cheap bastard.

    lol the situations couldn't be more different. One was a former MVP and one is looking like one of the bigger QB busts in the last decade, and Darnold's resume isn't even the same universe as Cam's when we got rid of Cam.

    He is mediocre at best. It is what it is. He's not going to be the answer. 20 years ago maybe he could have been a Trent Dilfer but you don't win jack with mediocre QBs like that anymore.

    He wasn't very good for most of the game. If he were playing under late term Fox or Rivera, I doubt we'd be seeing so many favorable reviews. Darnold is what he is. A mediocre NFL starter at best. And once the new wears off of him and Rhule, everyone will agree.

    Just admit you have more of a problem with the name on the front of his college jersey than the one on the back and that's what clouds your judgement. The "I'm just being objective" shtick is pretty lame, but I guess I shouldn't expect less from a guy who moderates a forum for free and has 50k posts.
