Round 1 - Carolina Panthers Select CB Jaycee Horn
ImaginaryKev replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Can't find much wrong with the pick. Horn has Josh Norman's attitude and Chris Gamble's athletic profile. Good move. -

General Friday Draft Discussion - Rounds 2-3

Oh man Thinking about Sam Cosmi 2 and Andre Cisco 3 -
We have to go tackle in the second round, right?

Rhule saw Sam Cosmi up close and personal when he was at Baylor. Might be a good fit, too. Trevon Moehrig would be a nice curveball bpa pick tho. -

Trevon Moehrig is the best safety in the draft and fell out of the first. Projects as a pure free safety with ball production, wouldn't be a reach at 39. Rhule etc were at his Pro Day. They were also at the NDSU Pro Day and Dillon Radunz impressed there. I'm fine with either player. -
Matt Rhule on Jaycee Horn - Why he is the best fit

I wouldn't taken a corner over Slater too. -

Had to cut ties, man. When you realize you made a mistake correct it, Sunk Cost, Tepper is rich so he'll be alright.
-
Wow some ppl really don't understand the concept of cutting your losses

Great news, tbh. We deserve this. All of us.

I like Surtain better than Horn, too, but both are fine. I'd be pretty annoyed if they can't manage to find two DBs that compete for playing time early in this draft.

Darnold is known for being good out of structure and that's where his talent seems to really shine if you watch him, but his in-structure was all pretty bad. Panthers are banking on their coaching ability which reeks of arrogance but oh well man, we all gonna die anyway. I'm trying to see the bright side of it and would prefer Penei Sewell first, but would be happy with a trade down. I ultimately hope they aquire some picks and draft multiple offensive lineman and secondary players who contribute from the jump. That's all I'm hoping for this weekend.

That WR order is still funny to me, I felt like everyone had AJ, DK, and Deebo as the best guys then team preferences happened. I got my popcorn ready

LoL oh man
-
Lol at you

Seems to be going way under the radar, I think it'd be smart to look for a C replacement and insurance in case Little and Daley can't play guard. Notre Dame has a rep for good IOL, too.

Get over yourself, ppl trying to talk football
-
Here's a guy Would be bummed if they don't draft more than one OL
-
I wouldn't hate it if it were Surtain or Slater or even JOK, but Farley's back is an issue
-
Lifting weights? That blows
-
He'd solve nickle and free safety. I wouldn't trade up for him or anything but I'd be on board too

Will be 24yo when the season starts but also would start from day one Grant is in the video above starting :34
