Panthers plan to pick up Brian Burns fifth year option
ImaginaryKev replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
He's young as hell and I'm patient -
Weed is legal in all the fun states and tons of South Carolinians smoke pot regardless of the law, no one cares. Get him a license for that gun and keep it moving. 2nd amendment exists, wonder why those types arent defending him more. Everything about this screams victimless crime

Real weird how good it makes anonymous people on a message board feel to lecture total strangers about their decisions or screw-ups, lord knows half the folks here are barely holding it together

Running QBs don’t win Superb Owls
ImaginaryKev replied to Lets go get it Canes's topic in Carolina Panthers
He's calling you triggered bc he's annoyed people see through this vague racist bullshit Casually listing all the Black QBs he doesnt like (labeling them as "running") and trying to form a cogent argument while doing it, all to bash the Black QB he doesn't like in THIS draft. This place doesn't change much, man -
Teams like thr Giants are interested in having extra picks next year because of the QB class. Not surprising next year is when Jones contract is up and the QBs are much better than this years.

There's a word for threads like this, but plausible deniability and main forum fragility won't allow us to call it what it is -
Watson not out of woods yet - 2nd grand jury

Before he was accused, the perfect dude to trade for. Since then, Lamelo Ball pass. Glad we didn't wanna guarantee him millions, this situation is too toxic to go near. I appreciate them doing their diligence but yeah I'd much rather draft my own guy who isn't a creep than hitch my wagon to that shitshow. -
The Niners offered a first round pick for Darnold last season?
ImaginaryKev replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
Lol you got caught being racist again -
Steelers love Willis according to lots of draft Twitter I've seen. If they wanna move up ahead of, say, Atlanta, I'd absolutely trade down with them to get more picks to fix this roster. Especially if they're offering maybe their second this year and a first or second next year, which they might need to to move up from 20 to 6. If they traded up that far for Willis while giving us picks, I'd be down for drafting Pickett or Corrall at 20 at that point. Other than that I still think the best bet is passing on this class and thinking long term.

As for why anyone would want him, he played great at Oklahoma and does have a nice arm when he sets his feet but he's limited athletically and overconfident. He also didn't throw to O'Dell, who's actually still good. That's a red flag bc OBJ can still play. But if you support him with a solid running game and he's healthy you can have some success. One year deal to compete with Darnold, sure.

Sorry for that double post but yeah hes a very immature guy so he's HIGHLY pissed right now and highly motivated. He'll also be healthy next year bc he had a shoulder injury this year that should've shut him down for the season. I don't care for him long term but for one year, hell yeah. I'd give then a mid round pick for him if we can keep 6 overall and still draft Charles Cross. Might catch lightning in a bottle. But not for the 6th.

When you consider all these teams which have signed QBs, the Panthers don't actually need to draft a QB at 6, they could trade down and get one

Two 2s for this bum lol. The QB position is truly unparalleled

Matty Water to the Colts for a 3rd rounder.

He's always been a bum -
What number yall think Pickett will wear? 9 or 3?
-
If this is the case, bravo front office. Do what you can to send those smoke signals so we can trade back with Seattle or Washington.
-
I think Pickett seems like a guy who's gonna stick no matter what, if not a solid starter than high end backup but better than Teddy Bridgewater, and Willis has the talent teams are looking for these days (fantastic arm and movement skills) but is a bigger risk than Trey Lance. I'd rather pass on that for the guys next year but I am emotionally ready to rationalize whomever is the pick this year. I'd still rather be choosing between Charles Cross, Kayvon Thibodaux, and trading down, though.

Cmc ran a 4.48, 37.5 inch vertical, 3 cone was 6.57 (!!!!), 20 yard shuttle was 4.22, he's a fantastic athlete. Move him to that role that Deebo played that Kyle Shanahan basically just stole from Curtis Samuel and Joe Brady (but with a better football player) and let him just be an athlete

He's been playing out of position his entire career. The same as Reggie Bush in the NFL
