  1. The rest of the draft can be offensive line, secondary, maybe a TE at some point
  2. Tag Moton and promise to pay him big next year with a larger cap for the entire league extend Samuel (3 years 33 million) sign Jayon Brown and Shaq Griffin to start Trade next year's first and third to Miami for 3 Draft a QB
  3. A LB trio of Brown, Thompson, and Carter as the third guy could work in today's NFL and allow us to focus elsewhere in the draft. At least two of those dudes can cover, and JC is at least good on running downs. Yes. FA LB is needed.
  4. I'm happy with Reddick or Brown, not sure who would cost more tbh. Reddick coming off his best season, Brown is a modern day LB who can cover and young
  5. A dream FA scenario is Jayon Brown and Shaq Griffin to start at cb opposite Jackson. Then the draft can focus on QB, OL, S, TE etc
  6. I think the top four are all at least as good as Baker Mayfield or better then everyone else is a good backup prospect. Like Jamie Newman and Kyle Trask seem like two great backups.
  7. I'd gladly give up next years first and third to move up for Lance or Fields bc the salary cap will be higher and we can position ourselves to be better as far as cap space goes. Plus with the low salary cap this year, more good players will be on one year deals, banking on themselves in anticipation of higher cap in 2022. Agents will make sure of this. Miami I has been a trade down machine in recent years. They can get a WR or Pitts at 8 for Tua who they've invested 5 in last year. Be optimistic for once.
  8. I feel like they're gonna pull this tbh. This is in their character. Hyped for Lance and Fields personally. Even more hyped if we can get one of them by trading NEXT year's picks to Miami if we have to give up a first--salary cap will be higher and they can offset loss of the pick, which could be like middle of first round at worst imo, then sign a free agent to compensate.
  9. If he does that Moton can be extended long term and we keep all our home grown talent in this system. Might be smart since Samuel is still young as hell and getting better, a perfect fit here, and Robby isn't signed past next year.
  10. Samuel could be back on a one year deal to bank on himself and his growth in Brady's offense in order to make more money with a higher salary cap in 2022, I'm not sure why ppl think he's getting paid like Sammy Watkins a few years ago
  11. I mean i thought that was obvious too but my big takeaway from the whole thing, honestly, is now I'm concerned about his health bc I'm a bleeding heart despite being mean online lol. I thought that was inappropriate to share in this discussion but I felt bad
  12. This is a broken situation and the best thing they could do is resist Sunk Cost Fallacy and get a ton for him asap to salvage their bad managerial decisions but they aren't, they're gonna wait til after the draft when teams have already moved on and selected QBs and diminish their only assets trade value, cutting of their nose to spite their own faces bc they don't wanna look weak in this situation. Just a mess
  13. If history is an indicator of future behavior the Texans are gonna make the worst decision possible here, which means they aren't gonna trade Watson before the draft bc of McNairs ego
  14. I do however agree the Panthers coaching staff could do wonders with all four of the top qbs in this draft, imagine Trey Lance or Justin Fields in Brady's offense throwing to DJ and RA
  15. The situation of an NFL quarterback is in no way shape or form similar to that of a retail associate, please stop One is worth hundreds of millions of dollars due to the scarcity of their skills and the sheer amount of revenue their labor generates, affording them more power naturally, the other is an exploited worker underpaid for their labor, they couldn't be more different wtf
  16. I heard rumors about that but honestly who cares? Why would they bring his personal life and wife into it? Seems odd and petty but oh well, you know how quickly folks side with owners and teams over players around here
  17. Very telling that folks are SO willing to take the side of the coaching staff and frame a player like Russell fuging Wilson as a problem based off a few articles.
  18. These personal attacks on Russ seem weird. It's clear there is conflict in the Seahawks org but he's conducting himself pretty classy as far as disgruntled athletes go. The fact that the whole scenario with him making excuses for his bad play, allegedly, became a story at all reeks of a coaching staff leaking locker room info to the media as to not get roasted in the court of public opinion precisely because they know Russ has such a good reputation. Plus, he's a veteran QB with a ring who wants more input into the game plan, that's not unreasonable or insufferable. Goofy. Athletes have power, apparently folks don't like them exercising that
