  1. If you're blaming DJ for actually caring about winning and missing an easy FG you're probably old and racist. That was the sickest catch I've ever seen. That was Deshaun Foster NFC championship TD run against the Eagles poo. And we're still in position to draft Bryce Young. Never trade DJ, he's a Panther for life after that.
  2. Crazy how whenever a first round pick starts looking good, folks march in looking for reasons to NOT give em a contract extension rather than enjoy the player blossoming and playing well and being the franchise face they were drafted to be
  3. Defense looks fire though. Frankie should be held onto, Horn is elite, and Brown might lowkey be a better player than Burns (not derogatory at all)
  4. I realize he's a career backup who's played well in spot duty (being unable to sustain good play makes him a backup to begin with) and they need to keep him in the lineup so they lose out for that high draft pick. They also can't afford to allow Baker or Sam to return to the lineup, have a flukey stretch of good play, ruining the team's chances at Bryce Young or Will Levis.
  5. Also: why not make Chinn the MLB when we get off Shaqs contract? Didn't Urlacher play the same role as Chinn when both were in college?? Just a thought
  6. Lol Cmc is a fantastic running back but so are Cook, Henry, Taylor, and rookies Breece Hall and Kenneth Walker This is racist trolling and you're a goddamn idiot
  7. You are trolling for attention and don't understand what you are watching when the TV is on, stop posting
  8. You're comparing him to the best yt edge in the game to try to minimize his ability, you deserve jail time for this, full stop lol
  9. This is embarrassing, why are you doing this
  10. Also Burns is only 24 and still going to get better as a pass rusher, I do not care that he's not the best run defender. Criticizing that part of his game when he's great at the most valuable thing an NFL defender can do (getting the qb and staying healthy) does not make you a smart football fan, get over yourself
  11. You need good players at premium positions to win. I could understand trading him if you KNEW you could replace him with Will Anderson or that Clemson edge plus another first but that's not guaranteed. And teams kinda HAVE to pay players to play for them, that's how the league works. If you land a rookie QB, which they're going to do this upcoming draft bc if they don't they're insane, then you can absolutely justify paying a top 5 edge defender. And after yesterday you still wanna trade this guy for potential you deserve jail time, I don't make the rules
  12. I don't care if it is too early to make declarations. I think 79 is elite and is a Burns/DJ/star caliber player on the offensive line. He's like if Jordan Gross and Otah has a baby
  13. Woods has been good though, and you need depth at DB (Chinn is hurt currently)
  14. I don't doubt it. Brady Christensen should've been playing from day one. Terrace Marshal got no playing til yesterday and looked competent, despite some errors. Kenny was billed as a good coverage FS out of West Virginia and he hasn't gotten an opportunity to show that at all. I would not be surprised if he produces when given a chance to play. Not every player is going to be elite from day one, most guys need experience to become good players. He could also he a scrub but still. This is Matt Rhule we're talking about.
  15. PJ to me looks like he's made for the backup role (not derogatory, he's actually been good when actually given opportunities). I don't think he'll play this well consistently but I'd keep him around as an affordable QB2 going forward bc he simply has performed well in that role as a spot starter. Very very weird that people have ignored that bc he doesn't play well in preseason. Vividly remember him being the QB for DJs best game as a pro against the Lions a while back. I'm also still a Terrace Marshall/Tommy Tremble truther. TEs usually take a while to develop, and Tommy is a great athlete for the position (which is what you need for the NFL) so I'm gonna be patient for him and enjoy his flashes. Terrace hasn't gotten opportunities to perform and the best part of the Robbie trade, even better than the cap relief, was the playing time for TMJ. Dude was a second round pick at a valuable position from a school that has legitimately produced the best WR in the NFL the past few years. Talent wins out in the NFL and I'm going to be patient with both of those guys bc the upside is there and a legitimate QB would go a long way towards getting the best out of your skill guys. I'm bullish on the first four picks of that draft (Jaycee, BC, Marshall, Tremble) as being apart of the long term plan here.
  16. He's like Derrick Brown strength at left tackle, we got a good one. Was so happy about that draft pick when it happened.
  17. Look at this protection. He's like Baby Trent Williams. Dude is Colossus from the X-Men
  18. Pretty clear the helmet scouting this off-season is going to be unbearable
  19. Hooker looks legit. Teams will likely try to knock him for his age but he looks great this year. Wouldn't be surprised if he's a fantastic backup, at the very least, or starting at some point depending on his situation.
  20. Stroud is accurate as fug Young is small but the best at playing QB and the best playmaker Levi's has fantastic tools No excuses to grab a QB and commit to him this year, we spent the last half decade drafting premium players and valuable positions (Horn, Burns, Moore, Ekwonu), a QB and solid head coach makes it all work.
  21. The Levis hype here is going to be insufferable for obvious reasons I'd take any of the three QBs though
