  1. Sewell is a cornerstone player and the Panthers should wait and see if be slips. If he goes to Cincy at 5 they should trade back bc they can get a good tackle in the early teens (which may be Slater himself) plus more chances to draft good players.
  2. Greg Newsome is best case, Grant probably happens
  3. Sewell, Slater, trade down, Sam Cosmi, Trevon Moehrig, JOK
  4. 9ers smoke screen worked, they're drafting this guy
  5. Trade down w NE 1. Christian Darrisaw OT 2. Tyson Campbell CB 2. Richie Grant S 3. Tylan Wallace WR
  6. They do a mock every morning and I find then entertaining usually. This one they have us trading down with NE to 15 and taking BPA Jaylen Waddle. I don't hate it at all, esp if we somehow get NE to trade us their second and third to move up. Fun to think about.
  7. I'd take him or someone like Tylan Wallace
  8. I think you can make the argument to still draft him probably if he falls
  9. If Fields falls to 8 I'd take him. If not, I'd prefer to trade down like Rhule apparently wanted to do last year. Not a pundit but depending on how far they move down Darrisaw and Sam Cosmi could be there. I think the risk is worth it to move down in order to get more opportunities to fill holes in the roster. And a few players like Dyami Brown and Elijah Molden could fall due to slightly slower than expected 40 times and other players testing better. More chances to get good players.
  10. Yeah definitely part of it, Teddy couldn't get it done in close games and was a clear overpay last year. This is them understanding sunk cost and attempting to get this outta the way as soon as they can so they can move on. I also think they're extremely confident in their ability to coach bc we were in a lot of games last year despite the holes in the roster (games Teddy couldn't win). They probably think they can make a qb with actual traits look better than he is.
  11. Ifedi isn't a good player though I get the pessimism, seems a lot like David Carr, but they felt backed into a corner and are taking a gamble. The compensation ain't as bad as yall are making it out to be imo
  12. I understand if people have David Carr ptsd though, that looked promising and was a mess
  13. I mean they're taking a risk, but it's for a qb with the youth and traits they were looking for and they didn't even part ways with a first round pick to get it. You can make the argument for trading up for a young qb but the options were probably worse there and the same age QB as Sam. The SF trade forced them into a corner, they decided to take a route that let them keep all their draft picks this year. I don't hate it.
  14. Also, the Bears cut their best corner and made Andy Dalton tgeir starter, they're not making good decisions currently
  15. Situation matters, Denver already has a similar guy, Detroit has Goff, New England trading for the Jets qb they made look bad makes no sense, the options were limited especially considering teams at the top of the draft have the opportunity to draft newer younger QBs.
  16. Can they even trade him? Who are the potential suitors anyway? I'd be surprised if we move him tbh
  17. And trade down for Horn who you tweeted or Darrisaw (I think the Panthers attended the Pro Day) would be sufficient as well. Sewell or the pick of the top corner seems ideal after getting your QB situation settled.
