  1. Np, I'm out on trading for him bc he's an alleged predator apparently and think that's fine if folks wanna stay away from all that entirely. But football wise a qb like that is what the Panthers need. Imagine Kyler or Joe Burrow here. If Sam don't turn it around I don't blame them for drafting a QB.
  2. Again, get used to the Panthers being in the news about Watson til he's actually traded somewhere. And traits and arm talent QBs are all the rage now. Kyler, Josh Allen, Herbert, even Zach Wilson. If Trey Lance can inexplicably go 3 overall, Malik Willis is destined for QB1 in this upcoming draft and it makes sense if Sam relapses.
  3. I didn't say we should trade for Watson, I said it's gonna be news bc the Panthers were interested earlier this year. Sam needs to play better or they're gonna take the QB from Liberty .
  4. Yall should expect Deshaun news whenever Sam plays poorly, it was a hot story this past summer. But also, Sam playing terrible yesterday and the O Line being bad are not mutually exclusive, you all know the scouting reports on everybody out there lol Interior line is bad, Sam turns the ball over, both need to play better for us to win bc this roster is still young and green.
  5. Panthers are gonna have cap room. Donte is like 25, which is still young as hell, Panthers can offer him a three year deal (Reddick too) before a lot of current contracts expire and we have to pay Burns etc. He'll be able to test the market again when he's 28, and team has to make a decision on Horn and Henderson. Win-win. They can keep Reddick three more years too.
  6. I mean yeah, him blowing up in contract year is such a Donte Jackson move, I think we all saw this coming lol. But i love the way he's playing and am strongly considering keeping him to cover fast dudes bc no team in the league has four solid corners. If these dudes all work out that's an edge no other team has and is the kind of forward thinking thing that has made this franchise interesting the past few months. Jaycee in the slot with Donte and Stephon on the outside in man, with CJ Henderson here and there in the wings is a good call.
  7. Yall don't have to be ashamed of PFF, it's literally just a tool to help put certain things you see in context, it's also entertainment when your eye test matches their data. Brady could potentially get better, the interior is trash. If the interior is gonna be this bad we might as well let Deonte Brown play and get his reps, see if he can answer RG. This team is on a collision course with Tyler Linderbaum if Sam pieces himself together
  8. I mean it's a long season and Darnold feels like a rookie with bad habits but Howell projects good here
  9. You can't see nuance at all nor fo you understand what you're watching
  10. I like everything this coaching staff has done with the roaster in regards to skill guys, defense and corner. But the offensive line thing is weird. From the free agent signings to their shuffling of the offensive line. Brady looked great in college on the left, Taylor is proven at right. If you view this guy as a 2nd OG, 3rd LT, why not give him a chance at LT and then move him to left guard if he can't handle the speed rushers? Seems like the easiest adjustment.
  11. Again, new positions for a lot of players, I think patience is a virtue and see the utility in keeping your highly paid OT on the left and the young guy with short arms on the right. I would've played Brady at LT initially to give him a chance to prove if he can hold up out there or be a really great LG and to keep Moton in place but apparently coaching staff saw the traits differently.
  12. Dig if you will, a picture: Moton at left tackle Brady at right Tyler Linerbaum at center
  13. This team is young as hell, all our best players are 24 or younger, patience is needed. Darnold needs to be careful before he's replaced with an alleged predator, tho
  14. This is the straw man from hell, you must be 12
  15. Lol sure dude, waste money on a guy who got cut after a week 4 WIN Yall don't wanna compete
  16. Dudes a big name who can't play anymore and yall wanna add him bc cap room burns your pocket. Lolol
  17. Yall haven't watched this dude lol the lies, man
  18. Pass. He's never been the same since that big knee injury at Notre Dame. He can't change direction or cover, before that injury he was a great athlete and looked at as the next big MLB prospect which he never lived up to. Glad he got paid though bc that injury might've been a dirty hit
  19. Weirdest part about this whole situation and that bum ass head coach who should be fired is how right wingers are trying to make this about unfair Deshaun Watson coverage lol. Bravo, I hope Urban Meyer stays in Jax forever so everyone recognizes who the superior expansion team is and has always been
  20. They all seem like second half of the first round guys, which is great since Atlanta and NO might both be pigeon holed into drafting one and none of them scare me. Like, I think most of em (Rattler, Howell) are worse than Baker Mayfield and not Joe Burrow types in the least. Willis is probably qb1 bc of Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson's recent success.
  21. Before the Panthers traded for CJ it was Kaiir Elam. Obviously offensive line was the big project to fix but another corner was always the smart move for a forward thinking franchise in a division full of great X receivers. Now I just want a good Offensive lineman, position up in the air
  22. He's the rare size speed athleticism first round center who checks all the boxes, if he has a good spark score he's likely at the top of the Panthers board. Can upgrade the interior while getting rid of 61 contract
