  1. There's also poo like this Imagine losing out on a young as hell WR who gets open all the time bc you don't understand QBs are important and football is a team game.
  2. Oh man, two completely diff players, career trajectories, play styles, and contract situations, you are worse at comparisons than you are talent evaluating. Perfect for this board.
  3. I think if they Panthers do trade down and target some O Lineman, Kenyon Green and Zion Johnson fit the bill to me. Both are versatile and have been good and are day one starters.
  4. Yeah I think he's draftable for sure, nice arm talent, but I wouldn't touch him in the first two rounds bc of that
  5. You're putting words in my mouth, I don't care about Julio Jones. Please shut up
  6. And with the cap going up I expect a lot of guys to get paid north of 20 mill in the coming years. DJ, Terry McLaurin, AJB, DK Metcalf. DJ is comparable to all of them and has had by FAR the worst QB situation. Just stop it.
  7. You are a bad judge of talent and don't understand the effect of bad qb play on skill players. It should make everyone on this board vomit to think of DJ Moore leaving here and signing with NE to catch passes from Mac fugging Jones.
  8. Corral and Willis are the only two QBs I think should be drafted in the first due to tools and even then I wouldn't take either guy over any of the QBs in last years draft.
  9. Pickett had a weak arm and struggled with the rain at Senior Bowl practices, I'm not sure he's gonna go in the first round. He's always struck me as a Derek Carr kinda guy who could develop into a solid pro, and he was a 2nd round pick himself. Also, doesn't Carson Strong have some medical ssues with his knee? I'm not sure why folks on this board wanna draft him when no one is sure we can protect an immobile QB to begin with due to personnel decisions and bad coaching moves (like not starting Brady Christensen at LG from day one).
  10. Yep, that's three possibilities. Washington, New Englad where the coach loves him like he loved Gilmore when he was in Buffalo, and LA bc he'd be amazing with Herbert. He's also from Philly so Philadelphia. Ppl want to let this walk bc money? Way to pretend you're being pragmatic when they're just being silly.
  11. Ppl on this board think that undervalueing great talent is a personality, it's annoying
  12. Bill Belichick was talking him up as one of the best young WRs in the game before we played them this year, I think he knows more than some bored randos on a message board
  13. I mean he's basically exactly what you want with the 25th pick of the draft. He's exceeded expectations and when the QB play was even mediocre this year he was eating and beating goof corners. Yes, he's not perfect. Drops happen but are also flukes, Chris Godwin went on a weird streak if dropping everything in sight last season and they Bucs still won the chip and he's STILL elite. This board is weird when it comes to contract. No use being cheap with good players, unless you wanna see DJ leave us for New England or Los Angeles Chargers and become a "true number one" elsewhere. (Even though he's a true number one here already.)
  14. No one was arging he was Steve Smith. have a good night bc you are very, very unserious
  15. Lol you are a bad judge of talent and have forgotten how hard it was to find a wr after Steve Smith
  16. I'm arguing that we should re-sign a fantastic player who's young as hell, productive regardless of circumstances, and STILL getting better at a premium position. Thats expensive but the cap isnt real anyway. He also keeps his mouth shut and is marketable. Yall hesitant about that? QBs need weapons, DJ is absolutely that and more.
  17. Comparable to what Galloday got if that's what it takes.
  18. I mean if you can't see that DJ is a guy you keep, I can't help you. He, CMC, Burns, and Jaycee are clearly the most talented guys on the roster and unlike Christian, DJ has been healthy and plays a more valuable position. Unless Christian changes his number to 5 and moves to the slot. Then this offense is gonna be cooking when they finally get the QB and Oline worked out. Don't be ridiculous.
  19. That's gonna be the market for a 25 year old WR who's been productive with bad QB play and skills, like great YAC and deep speed, that literally every team is looking for in the modern nfl. Hes also still getting better. I really don't understand being cheap with David Tepper's money, especially with a core player like him.
