DJ Moore is exactly the type of late first round pick you re-sign, he's 24 years old with bad QB play and solid production plus elite traits--some of you guys think you're being edgy by being down on him and it shows. We also won't ge able to trade an injury prone RB with a toxic contract. They need to change his number to 5 and use him as a slot WR, only way to recoup the value of that contract bc he's still a great player when healthy.

If we draft a QB, I want Carson Strong
ImaginaryKev replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
Both QBs in the SB were former number one overall picks who could escape the pocket under pressure, esp Joe Burrow, while Stafford has elite arm strength, let's not pretend certain physical traits don't help a smart QB succeed. Also, Carson Strong has medical red flags. -
I see him signing with the Jets or Jags, they have money to spend, and he's from Camden, would love the NY spotlight
-
He probably saw DJ cooking Trevon Diggs while Sam missed him with inaccurate passes and realizes talent when he sees it
-
I'd like to keep Reddick but also, letting him go and putting all the money down responsibility on Burns could make him take his game to another level. Also it might help to get a bigger body type on the field more with YGM.

The Panthers should trade down, maybe twice, and target one of Kenyon Green or Zion Johnson bc both of them are day one starters and much more talented than the free agents who signed here last year. They also both can play more than one spot on the line. Kenyon and BC can start on the left side, or BC can start at LT and Zion can be tried at LG or C. Linderbaum might also be there somewhere in the teens and trading down for him would be a good call if you can also get more picks elsewhere.
-
Also WR is valuable and if you actually have a QB worth building around, they need someone to throw to. We should be thinking about that contract extension for DJ, wanting him gone for draft picks shows an inability to recognize talent.

Threads like this show the Panthers are down pretty bad If you're gonna trade any one asset this year it should be trading down with that 6th pick to acquire more picks, the way you did last year after the first round. One player isn't gonna fix the offensive line.

Riot: Panthers to take a major swing at QB?
ImaginaryKev replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
If it means we don't draft Kenny Pickett and do spend the draft on offensive line, yes, I'll take Jimmy G for a year. Still convinced they'll make another run at Watson if he actually gets cleared. -
If Pickett is there, we need to trade down with the Steelers
ImaginaryKev replied to Chiefzack's topic in Carolina Panthers
Imo if Fields and Wilson were in this draft they'd both go top three with us and maybe Washington trading up. Then the next guy wouldn't go til Minnesota or Pittsburgh. -
I've maintained that they should have started BC at left guard from day one, then when injuries inevitably happened to Irvin kicked him out to left tackle. Then by mid season Big 77 should've been getting snaps at RG. Let us see what we have instead of moving BC all around the line making his learning curve from fugging BYU to the NFL even steeper. I agree with others than Brady can be a good LT and having someone solid there won't be in issue as long as the rest of the overall talent level of the line is raised as well. An actual good free agent line Bozeman or Connor Williams or any of the guys who've been named would do the trick. And if we're not trading for the sex pest franchise QB, trade down. It'd be a dream to trade with Philly for their two later first rounders, I think they're 16 or 17. Prime spot to draft Kenyon Green or Zion Johnson, then trade down again with the other draft pick or take Devin Lloyd/Nakobe Dean if one is available to replace Shaq Thompson. Pipe dream.

Are mods gonna move this thread or is that only when too many speak up against racism? Cuz the chuds are doing their best to derail this one

You're still here? Lol

Someone actually pied this crap
-
Anyway if he IS unhappy, forcing a trade to Tampa makes more sense
-
Omg shut up

He's going off TD numbers and using strawmen to make his case bc he can't see talent
