I want a time line personally. When was the first call, when did officers arrive, when was she released by the police. When did the police check our Greg's apartment, etc.. Fact is, there is plenty of guilt on both sides, but right now I don't see Greg beating her up. He's too big and strong, especially if he was high or drunk as well. She would literally be broke in half if he beat her. What were her visible wounds when she was checked out at the hospital? How long after the incident did this occur? Excellent post. Truth is, if Greg is able to avoid jail time AND keep his job after this, then he needs to count his lucky stars, thank every known diety, and NEVER think about getting angry off the football field again. Even if he's with us, Hardy's not going to get CJ money now. There will be major behaviorial clauses in his contract, and he can kiss a lot of the guranteed money goodbye. I hope that, no matter the result, Greg has learned to appreciate life a bit more after spending a night in jail. If he never plays another down of NFL football, I hope that he appreciates the opportunity he had. He was on the verg of being set for several lifetimes. He was on the cusp of NFL greatness. One night in jail, will it be his last? Will he grow up, become a man, and stop putting himself negative situations? I hope so for his children's sake. I hope so for his sake. And I hope he realizes that he never has a right to touch someone else in anger, off the football field (but remaining in control on the field).

This is kind of befuddling. Hardy always played the "crazy football god" on the field, but off it, seemed be completely affible and funny. I look forward to the facts coming to light because this is incredibly serious. We just don't know, but I am extremely surprised and disapointed. If this whole thing were to turn false, the damage to Hardy's reputation would be signifigant. He wants to make $15 million a year, and he is smart enough to know that he can't do things like this. I doubt the draft or anything would have something to do with this because it's the way the NFL works, younger guys come in yearly to compete with you. It's distressing as a Panther fan. I was just talking about Jeremy Bridges a while ago... I hope that there was a misunderstanding or something else, but we need to see what the facts are. Right now, Greg's not looking good. He's too big, strong, and rich to evr have to lay hands on a woman. That shouldn't ever enter his thoughts.

As far as franchises I really love: -Final Fantasy: Played since the NES days, though I haven't been as interested since FF7... But those games, including the gameboy games, have been epic in my life. -Halo - I love it. Other's don't. It's cool to agree to disagree. I feel like 343 can keep the game fun, and improve as they continue forward. -Everquest. C'mon man! How did anyone not play this game? Heck, SoE is STILL MAKING EXPANSIONS! PEOPLE STILL PLAY! ZOMG! There are a number of better MMOs out there, but its hard to beat the bredth of the entire series. Kind of nuts.

Thread-necro! Only because there is a "tinsy" bit more stuff out there. I just put my $5 down on the preorder, and I got a beta key. I'm taking the plunge because I do love the Halo games, and I feel like Bungie are the ones to really deliver something special. Anyone else? I'm probably going to try to do the beta on my PS3 and 360. Have to see what the differences are between the PS3/360 versus the PS4/X1.

The woes of our offense aren't limited to coaching, but it sure is a starting point. In hindsight (after four games), it seems like an outside choice would have been preferable. Maybe a coach with a good history who had a bad year and got canned? Someone who wanted to prove something? Did Cam Cameron get a job this year? Or possibly a position coach with a great play calling/scheming talent? I mean, it comes down to Shula not adjusting, scheming or calling the right plays in a given situation. Our offense will have these moments of "Holy crap, we're getting it together" followed by hours of "WTF?!?!" I think Cam did really well in Chud's offense his first two years. Complex plays and all. I thought the goal this off season was to play faster? When we play faster/uptempo, we play A LOT better. I'd like to see that happen. Go with speed, and if we pile up the points, unleash the Kracken! Wasn't that the goal? Why aren't we there?

This is one of those painful break ups where we'll all be better once its done. Beason is a tremendous human being in most ways (I don't know him, but from what I've read). I hate that injuries derailed his career here, but it's not fair to keep him from restarting his career. I wish him the absolute best of luck and good health. I'd love to see him get back to his high level of play, but who knows if that's going to happen at this point in his career considering how devastating micro fractures are. On a business end of things, I'm glad we got something. Who knows what coulda/woulda happened if he'd played out the season. He might have retired, or never become an impact player again, which would have netted us nothing in return.

I'm not sure if they're that good, but they can be better. That early 00's D line was pretty much one of the best in the NFL at that time. They controlled the LOS better than anything we've had for the Panthers. Our current line is excellent, but they've only had three games. Let's review this again after the season to make a more accurate judgement. They are the best D line we've had since that fantastic foursome of the past though, easily. That said, I'm very excited by the prospect of them playing against Palmer and the Cardinals' offensive line. So long as they play like they should play (instead of the usual post by flatness), it should be extremely entertaining seeing what they do.

Against the Giants, it would be a great time to change the momentum of the season before the bye... I'd love to see our Offense make some strides!

Great points O'fearless Leader! I am fully in agreement that if we don't attack, we don't unless the Cam, it's going to be a LONG, PAINFUL season. Looking at the big, franchise picture, the Panthers must get some life back into the offense next week. TDs sell tickets, jerseys, and improve the brand. Great D is fine, but unless you can put some big offensive plays on Sportscenter (or whatever), you're not making money in the 21st century of NFL football. If this continues, we will have a new coach in 2014. Here's hoping it was just a below average game plan, and the coaches can get something together to put the Bills D on its heels.

Man, I just finished book 5 and wow.... wow.......... wow... All I have to say is that I can't wait until Winds of Winter comes out! Some issues for me, some that have been discussed previously: 1. Jon Snow can't be dead. It was too easy. Too deux ex machina. There is more there, and it's going to be cool. I look forward to finding out his parentage, and how that effects the world at large. 2. Danny, Drogan and a new Kharl... Is this going to be a spin off? Are they going to capture her? Ride with her? Man, I want to see how that goes! 3. The other Two Dragons? What's up for them? Are we going to have 3 dragon riders? 4. 3 Headed Dragon - Jon, Danny, Aegon? Where does a bastardize Tyrion possibly come in? Hrm...? 5. Rickon - C'mon? He is the last able bodied Stark male. There's got to be something more there. I want to find out! Great thread folk! Love it!
