The difficulty I’m talking about is it was more difficult to field talent around them to help them succeed -

Of course it was harder contracts were 3 times the size with a lower overall salary cap -

Bradford was rookie of the year before injuries took their toll. Plus before the rookie pay limits got introduced it was a lot harder to stack a good side around a rookie QB -
Just proves that coaching matters an nothing will change around here before the right management is in place
-
Oh your magic formula every team should be using it

Yep we need to nail the HC decision first or we could ruin whoever we draft. -
Those picks from the Rams looking better and better.
-
We could draft the next Josh Allen but it won’t matter unless we nail our next HC
-
I don’t think he’s a bust I’m just against people thinking he’s more of a sure thing than history tells us. Don’t get me wrong I would love for him to be our future he’s just gonna have to be an outlier to do so

Mate I’m gonna use a poker analogy to describe my thoughts. It’s all about the odds like we’re going all in pre flop. Say Trevor Lawrence/ Andrew Luck are pocket aces sure they can be broken but they were the best play statistically. And I know you didn’t mention Corral but I bring him up a bit I see him with his 3rd talent, injuries and what we’ve seen so far as a middle of the range hand. And being diligent is not going all in with a hand like that. If our front office identifies a better hand we need to play it. Whether that’s taking one with our 1st, early 2nd or trading up somewhere in between -
Isn’t all the super QB needy teams passing till the third more telling the ones that NEEDED one?
-
Trying to attack me because I’m Australian nice work classy fella hahaha
-
A lot of may have’s or could’s in your arguments. But I’m arguing facts 3rd talent proven in draft, injury prone (college and pros) and didn’t show a thing on the field against scrubs. Factor in a new coaching staff but I have the blinders on. Come on have some common sense
-
Actions speak louder than words how hard is that to realise you got some serious blinders on for the kid. If teams had better grades on him they would have taken him being the most important position in football and all.
-
The proof is in the pudding
-
Love Ron and I hope the best for him I just see him as a Lovie Smith/Marvin Lewis level coach
-
You boys will hope for anything to make Corral work. Every team in the NFL believes Corral is a 3rd talent or worse and history says 3rd QBs barely become the guy
-
Tell me you can’t take a joke without telling me you can’t take a joke
-
Hopefully UNC just for the fallout in here
-
The SB wins might be close to even but the player pool is not. Throw up a number of total QBs taken between 1st round and Non 1st

If we go with another conservative defensive minded coach it would make me sick. Especially one with such a poor record
