  1. he is, but that is really saying VERY little. if he wants to come back for cheap, fine, but please do not plan to build around him. ofc if he somehow manages to lead us into the playoffs my attitude will change, lol.
  2. no kidding. Top three picks go to atrocious teams with so many holes, its hard for them to be successful. Teams drafting outside the top few picks usually have fewer holes, better coaching, and a better situation for players.
  3. No, you couldn't. With the way the D was playing, we probably coulda won with a much worse effort by him, but he played well enough. I get that he basically just managed the game, but he made a couple of big throws. No reason to hate on the dude. No reason to build around him either, lol.
  4. He had a perfectly fine game, it was a great return against a very good defense. He took the shots he needed to, frankly he had a lucky but heads up/smart play to get that TD by rolling into the endzone after the forced fumble, and he had some very pretty throws. But Darnold has always been capable of good games, its the other type of games that he commonly has that are a concern too. Let's see how he does going forward - a lot of the flaws in his game last year were not apparent this game. If he can threaten 40 yard throws regularly, it'll be way harder to stop his short/intermediate game. I've never been a Darnold hater, and while I don't think we can build around him at all, I'm happy with his performance and looking forward to the rest of the season.
  5. fuging great game by DJ and props to Darnold for finally looking down field (to his own teammates, that is). If those two can keep up the chemistry, it'll at least be a fun last few games of the season
  6. rolling into the endzone pie!
  7. there's some trolls named like "BringBackDarnold" saying it, but come on some of us are happy he had a decent game but realistically we all know what we have with him and don't think we should build around him. That doesn't mean we should just do our best to tank tho, I don't think you can tank when you still technically have a shot at the division. unfortunately the whole division is so garbage...
  8. honestly he looked like he did the same thing at SEA sometimes and his receivers just made incredible plays
  9. felt this way, but also know that the smart thing to do there was to take the 3 points if you didn't get it on the ground. As much as I hate this conservative ball, in a game like this it makes sense.
  10. being the best qb on this roster still doesn't mean much, but its nice to see Darnold have some semblance of success, he's always been reportedly a great teammate
  11. if sam fuging darnold wins 5 in a row... I'll be... I don't even know if shocked describes it.
  12. man I'm totally here for the panthers run game rolling into the endzone
  13. This is an idiotic take. If he isn't getting coached, and is going to go to top5 anyway this year, why the hell should he stay? It doesn't make sense.
  14. Whoah, wtf happened, sounds like something really serious.
  15. best post of the year, 10/10 would read and reply again
  16. Time for Darnold to resurrect his career
  17. Oh I'd much rather have Stroud. I agree Young's size is a concern. It's just the 5'8" stuff that seems preposterous.
  18. Wasn't she in 6" heels? I don't remember the details, just looking at him in the field with people in the same plane of vision. Mac Jones is what, 6'3"? No way in this picture Young (and this is a couple years back now) is only 5'8". Maybe 5'10" tho. Edit: stupid picture inserted into my quote of your post... Bah
  19. He doesn't look 5'8" in pictures. 5'10" possibly tho. Hard to get a good comparison but he look ~3-4 inches shorter than Mac Jones, not like 8" LOL
