  1. Look I like Young's turn around, and find PFFs stats always interesting... But whether it's just one week or not, BY is not the league's actual best deep passer, lol. Yes he's improved on them but this is a bit ridiculous.
  2. If Bryce keeps playing at the level he is, I don't think he's going to need to compete. But I'm expecting a bit of a come down...
  3. I don't know how you can compare a veteran like that to Bryce, a player coming off the best stretch of games in his career. Winston is super entertaining to watch when he's on a different team, because if he isn't throwing touchdowns, he's throwing picks.
  4. Ah hah okay. I mean that maybe I could see.
  5. Tbf I think he's their #2 maybe if he's there day 1. Assuming he doesn't throw a poo fit and get kicked off the team for who knows what reason. But our WR talent, especially with Coker out, is really lacking. We have a bunch of dudes that are 2-4 on most depth charts. XL may get there but he isn't there yet
  6. And despite our whining about XL, he isn't even close to the league lead in drops or drop percentage and he feels like our worst culprit (tho maybe Moore is worse lol)
  7. How long has it been since we had a QB in our top 5 every week? Jesus it feels like forever...
  8. Wait really? Some other numbers suggested that wasn't close to true
  9. The stats were from the last 5 games, which are arguably Stroud's worst in his career vs Bryce's best
  10. Worth noting the TD% and INT% for both: BY is at a ~3.6% TD per pass, ~1.8% INT per pass Stroud is at ~2.5% TD per pass, ~2% INT per pass This is arguably Stroud's worst period of his career tho and he looks about as good as BY. We've seen a lot of higher highs from Stroud. Hopefully we do from BY soon, too
  11. I'd like to as well but at this point in the season, I'm not minding the draft position improvement either...
  12. I get he's cracked in big moments to win games before (tbh I've kind of forgotten but fans here say that so), but those misses were not big moments. Those were routine mental misses that I think he can get over and don't indicate long term much of anything. I bet he would have redeemed himself in OT if given the chance. Oh well, next game.
  13. He is letting passes hit him in the head instead of going out and catching them... I'm not going to claim he's a bust or to get rid of him (he's a rookie playing pretty well tbh), but he's missed quite a few catchable balls.
  14. I think the ref made a mistake and thought he was out of the back of the end zone and then they didn't have an angle to see when Thielen was twisted away from the only 2 cameras that could see him I'm positive it's a catch.
  15. Bullshit is why. They didn't have an angle that showed all parts of Thielen out of bounds, and the ref claimed he lost possession going out of bounds but it sure didn't look like it from replays.
  16. Look what I want from a young QB is playmaking. I want them to rise to the situation. I want 4th quarter comebacks. I want long drives. I want them to make plays with the ball. Young has been doing that the last few weeks. I still say we bring in some good competition in camp to push him, but that 4th quarter TD drive was beautiful.
  17. Bryce had 2 TDs and was robbed of a third. Without a turnover, and without a run game. He absolutely did not lose I'd this game by any measure. He played well enough for us to win ultimately.
  18. Bryce? Why? Wrs had a could drops but I kind of expect that from them now...
  19. I do not like our play calling in the red zone still. Whether it's not trusting Bryce or something else, it isn't reassuring...
