Not true on Reich, at least in terms of interviews. -
Coaching Interview Thread IV: A New Hope

Reich has an extremely strong resume, tho. Outside of Payton, the strongest overall in terms of experience with an offensive focus. Plus he has worked some QB magic at times, too. -
Coaching Interview Thread IV: A New Hope

I personally like what Steichen has done lately but Reich feels like he was doing similar things for QBs before Steichen. -
Regarding the second version of this thread, I don't mind discussion around tweets/the search, but maybe save the draft status of future QBs for a different thread. Very curious to see which of those virtuals become in person, how many 2nd interviews we have, etc...
-
Well doesn't he seem enthusiastic. Good for Denver. I'd like to keep our first rounders.
-
Shitty thing to do to any player.
-
Honestly I really like Demeco Ryan's... I wanted an offensive HC but there's something about him...
-
I don't mind Romo but it feels like he lets his biases/former playing influence some of his color commentary in a way I don't really feel from Olsen. But Romo isn't bad.
-
That would make defensive holding waaaaay too attractive on any 3rd and long.
-
Without Lamb Prescott has like 15 passes for 60 yards or something ridiculous. He's playing out of his mind. As to CMC I think that last drive was basically Kittle+CMC.
-
Olsen is the best announcer I've heard in a long time.
-
Not at all a cowboys fan but I'm glad that kicker made that kick. Seeing a players career fall apart the last couple weeks is pretty shitty.
-
there is no guarantee - especially without a good QB - that any of the coaching candidates can attain that record.
-
Some things are bigger than football, and especially bigger than a head coaching search. In a way, it's a sad commentary on what I think of him that I'm surprised and impressed that Tepper has postponed everything for now.
-
I'd rather have Wilks and our draft picks, and I don't want Wilks much, but there will be more opportunities for us than that anyway.
-
How could Denver provide two first round picks lol
-
Yeah no we better pass on that crap.

Panthers sign former UNC safety Myles Dorn

What's with the post tags? -
There's a difference between intentionally going all in to win, and intentionally sabotaging a franchise. Some posters here are implying he's sto working with the saints to fug us - seems crazy to me, and LPs quite doesn't imply that IMO.
-
I think there's plenty of fans that would be happier if we'd won a SB in 2016 and had the last few years than if we'd competed say for the division and went to the playoffs all but one year but never made it back to trh SB. I'm not sure where I'd fall tbh.
-
You're making these comparisons in some weird bubble cutting off the most important achievement of a coach... I'm not saying the Steelers would fire Tomlin NOW. Tomlin isn't still coach now if he never wins a Superbowl is what I'm saying. It's totally different if you remove the Superbowl...
-
My concern with Payton is minimal but it's that without Brees his offenses weren't anything special. In his years before and after Brees his offenses were typically in the low teens or twenties for points scored and yards.
-
Tomlin is probably fired if he doesn't have a Superbowl win so I don't see the point in the comparison. I'd rather be good and have a Superbowl but the dumb hypothetical was about Payton getting a ring and "ruining" the team. Do you think Rams fans regret hiring McVay?
