Yeah, he is playing like a good game manager should. I do think he could have a long term future as a backup in the league, and maybe he gets a Geno Smith-like renaissance some day, but he just doesn't have "it".

This is the problem with run first teams, and why this staff must go in the offseason. Darnold is of course gone too (barring being back as a cheap backup).

I am reallly not trying to knock his play so far, but his incompletion shows his limitations clearly and if the Seahawks start playing up on the line, like they should, we'll see if he can beat them deep... that'll really be what will impress me.
