It's not like his stats were bad when we were tied, lol. Its a bit of an odd subset to use. Bryce was fine today, he did his job and made some good plays in the face of pressure without being at fault for any turnovers.

As frustrating as it was to see Mike Jackson burned time and again, our DL containing their running game is a big reason we won, and the D came up huge on Dallas' last possession

Honestly, although XL had a couple bone headed plays, even he showed up today. Our young players are starting to come along, especially the 2025 class. It's wild to not need to wait years to evaluate our draft picks and be happy with their contributions early

They do suck (see above posters commenting) but great players go off on bad defenses, like Rico did. Not like we're talking an NFL average performance

Derrick Brown is that good. Plus our safeties are very good against the run.

I do not consider 2 TFL, 3 hurries and 1.5 sacks in 4 games to be top edge stats. Clearly you do, so, just a difference of opinions. I guess his 1 full sack may have come in whatever game of theirs I didn't see lol. He was outside the top 10 in pressures and sacks. Honestly last year was quite like his time with the Panthers, but with more tackles (one more game than with us though). Not saying he hasn't always been good, but I'm not sure I agree he was great last year. Just a difference of opinion though. Last year seemed like a typical Burns year - good player, gets some pressure, has trouble finishing this year is different.
