  1. Yup. Tbh, I'm happy with both of these things, which is why I'm not stressing one draft pick position.
  2. depends on our HC choice. I do think Harbaugh could win 10 games with this roster, a slightly better QB, and a couple of upgrades in the draft or FA. But his personality issues etc... Long term success probably greater with a different coach and a more long term QB plan... We'll see.
  3. It's too bad we didn't, but you can't force the players to give up. Darnold, as much as he sucked, basically willed this team down the field on the final drive. As terrible as that may have been for our draft position, I don't really care that much anymore either way - I think we'll get a good player and we'll be in for a bit of development. Maybe we trade up, but I kinda doubt it. I don't think that changes if we were 7, 8, or 9 either.
  4. hilariously we won because despite being unable to complete a pass, Darnold was able to use his legs to get us into FG position where Dalton could not.
  5. Honestly in the greater realm of shitty things that have happened this year, this one game is pretty minor. It was hilariously bad. The bigger thing is getting the HC hire right anyhow, and this game helped solidify how bad Wilks is.
  6. I don't hate Wilks. I have a lot of respect for him. I just don't want him coaching this team next year. He's mediocre. Average. 6-6.
  7. yeah true, could be 2, and yes it sucks to be behind Atlanta, but maybe they'll get a hardon for Ridder after his quite good game today lol
  8. QB OF THE FUTURE SIGN HIM UP lol the crazy poo is I half expect him to be our starter next year if Tepper hires Wilks. I really do not believe he will but lol that would be the perfect offseason
  9. peak Panthers, haha honestly though whether 7 or 9, whatever. as much as the draft matters I'm far more concerned about who we get as our new HC
  10. Ahahaha omg if we win on a fuging long FG I am going to laugh my ass off
  11. As painful as this has been to watch, this was the best possible outcome. Wilks is going to lose any shot at the job with this showing and Darnold reverted to form to avoid any questions about his future here. We're likely to move up in the draft, awesome
  12. Sam doing what a backup should do: Securing it for his team.
  13. Ahahah I love how the Saints are so very, very bad this game isn't even over.
  14. I agree. I think we could use another receiving threat (ideally at TE). I don't think our receiving group is as bad as they've looked this season, because coaching has failed them. Especially the OC. I think Moore being as productive as he has been over the last 6 games (I know he hasn't been today but ... ) is a testament to Moore (and somewhat to Darnold, but much moreso Moore) than it is to our OC. That's why I specifically mentioned Brady having some nice playdesign at times.
  15. because they aren't. Moore is our only threat deep and teams know it. Shenault can move the ball but he needs the ball in space to get moving. TMJ is a disappointment. Teams know the routes we're running. Brady was awful in a lot of ways but his play design had moments of brilliance (and a lot of terrible calls, lol). Nothing like that from McAdoo.
  16. Was Bozeman trying to snap because he saw someone come across?
