  1. Seems an overreaction if it's based on likes... And even if there's something there... I think he can get any help he might need. I think he can be productive if he's in a better place. Really early to give up on a 1st round Choice. I think he fell out of favor with Meyer.
  2. Fair enough... Fiz does more than that imo and I don't see PhillyB posting much anymore but both used to post frequently and have quite a bit to contribute. Just difference of opinion I suppose.
  3. Looking over that thread it's clear a lot of fans still liked the guy. Hopefully whatever is going on is something our org can/help him overcome so he can hit his sky high potential.
  4. I agree with all that tbh. I just think the likelihood of him being just average is very very small. I think he's either going to live up to the tools he has... Or fall flat. Hopefully he also can find his footing here.
  5. Someone referenced tweets re:suicide and a coaches visit to his home. Hopefully just fan nonsense rumors. But his lack of production stems from something.
  6. We can't afford to go bargain bin shopping for OL unless our two rookies really, really show out. Right now we need upgrades at 3 or 4 positions... But CB is a need right now too.
  7. All 3 of those have produced great content over the years. Not all still do... Times change, life get busy, etc... Sounds like you may disagree with some of their political leanings?
  8. I think this is either a boom or bust trade tbh. I suppose he could end up being just average but it seems likely he'll either flame out here too, or become a fixture of the D. He has all the physical tools to be great, but it sounds like he's dealing with significant mental health issues. Hopefully he is getting the treatment he needs.
  9. CBs do usually take time to develop, which is where a veteran is helpful for a team that is honestly competing now. But I also trust the coaches to coach young guys up. This is a gamble that could solidify the defensive backfield for half a decade, and it's a gamble with relatively little risk.
  10. He basically had one good game as a pro and then disappeared it looks like. This is a decent gamble, although honestly pretty minor for a 3rd. I kinda would have preferred spending some cash on Sherman but hard to argue CJs potential.
  11. I love DJax but this seals his fate, assuming Henderson plays well. I just don't think we can prioritize paying him the money he deserves. OL really needs to be a priority we spend big on too.
  12. I wonder if Carolina is where he'll want to be... Hopefully Rhule gets him to buy in.
  13. Spitting up blood??? Glad he's apparently okay. I didn't have sound on for the game and didnt even realize he'd left injured. Ugh.
  14. Yup. We are using our picks on young talent. Just young talent for a draft a year ago.
  15. Sure seems it. This doesn't seem to make sense on their part unless the young man is Extremely unhappy.
  16. Is this an Urban Meyer effect, or did they indicate it was true last year too?
  17. Just basically dismissed our 3-0 start and commented how much harder it's going to get for us now.
  18. The slobbering over Mac Jones early in their game vs the Saints made me turn it off.
  19. I love watching young QBs. Agreed there. And on the definitely-not-young-qbs side, I'll be watching or at least following TB vs LAR. Should be a good game.
  20. Week 2 made me a believer in the D. Losing Horn is rough but I think we find a way to still be a dominant unit. Darnold's 2nd half this week showed me he and the offense may be further than I hoped... I didn't expect him to command a half like he did this early. Thought he'd need to be brought along slower. Trying to temper my excitement since it's only 3 games but damn.
  21. Speak for yourself. I'm excited by what he's done so far but I expect he'll have a setback or two. As to TDs in the red zone, we've had this problem for years and at least the last couple weeks we've done decently well of at least scoring in the red zone. I don't care if we run it in or pass it as long as we get those scores.
  22. Honestly, Reddick and Burns are just that good... I dunno if I'd trade a first for Tunsil, especially since we already lack our 2nd and I'm not sure the nature of his contract etc, but it's not because he got beat a few times by our DL. Our defense is elite.
