This is why this season feels worse to me than pretty much any of our past shitty seasons... that and it really feels like Rhule is ruining young talent, not just failing to really make good personnel decisions

Yah, Teddy isn't gonna lead a team to victory against good opponents often and is more likely to lose than win a game when the pressure is on... We are all so desperate for consistency now mediocrity ends up attractive lol. Teddy isn't the answer to any franchise's long term starting QB situation, but like Darnold, we managed to make him worse... Good offenses lift players up... Ours clearly does the opposite. His value is in showing how our offense manages to make people look even worse than they are I suppose, heh.

IMO it isn't just that we haven't installed a ton of plays yet. The simplicity of this system is one thing we had emphasized by the media (as a strength) thru camp etc. How QB friendly it was. The media just didn't realize how CB friendly it was, too. TB is no answer for us but he does show that the problems on offense make QBs look worse than they are.

they have failed to come up big in critical moments all season, even before the wheels came off our offense... there's TONS of talent on that side of the ball, but coaching is just not there it seems...

why is "Rhule is a moron" not a valid explanation for him benching his starter?

whatever our offensive scheme is, it is horribly predictable. Cam's innate abilities make an offense unpredictable and cover some of the TERRIBLE flaws in whatever poo we are trying to run. I just wish we could see Cam with these weapons and a decent offensive coaching staff. It is so fuging frustrating seeing us unable to scheme anything consistent.

I meant Cam deserves a better coached team around him. This is like the opposite problem from last year for him. An abundance of offensive talent without coaches to take advantage of it. Hell, whatever our WR coach does seems to make our WRs actually worse.

This team has too much talent to play as inconsistently as they do, especially on offense. Done wasting my Sundays on this garbage. Really hate to see Cam go out like this...

For sure. I certainly don't think he's capable of coaching this team to competitiveness anymore.

I think the competitiveness of the team across all phases will be more important than record. If we see a crazy offensive turnaround, and the D shores up vs the run even a bit, I could see him riding the Brady firing into next year.

That comment stuck out to me, too. Also the comment earlier in the season about not having sat down with just Sam before until after the dude came apart... Seemed weird for an HC not to be more involved in a rehabilitation project at QB...
