  1. That's fair. He's no Superman... Not even close. It did seem like he put the offense on his back in that 4th quarter but it was too little too late. It feels a bit like this offense treats CMC as that Cam-like player. Too bad he can't stay on the field anymore.
  2. Soon as in next year... Hopefully by then our receiving options can learn to fuging catch. The crazy poo is we saw periods of dropsies like this in camp / preseason as well. The consistency just isn't there.
  3. Care to explain? This seems to be one of the few things he's actually good at... By all accounts he is a leader. He's just unfortunately not very good for most of the game. Edit: agree on other sentiments tho. Darnold isn't really our answer... But I'm worried we will stick a rookie behind this shitty OL with even worse results...
  4. Weird to be in a place where we can suggest moving our #1 cb to safety and we could probably largely cover the loss of the corner.
  5. Getting him on the field in the next couple weeks will be big. His leadership is needed. Shaqs return will also be huge.
  6. The defense completely folded at the most critical moments of the game... After the ST TD we needed to hold them and maintain momentum... And we just needed to keep them out of the end zone in OT. Our injuries on D are really hurting us...
  7. As long as those series aren't at near end of the game or require RedZone TDs...
  8. Snows defense really relies on very specific players to work, it seems. Once Shaq is back I think we will see the D improve again, and hopefully we find a way to solve safety. But man, on that note Chinn feels wasted where he is.
  9. I'm all for drafting the right young QB, but we also need an upgraded OL very badly.
  10. He had 6 drops last year. By percentages this year is even worse.
  11. Darnold had two very good 4th quarter drives... Both despite drops. DJ trippled his drops in one game, and I still think if we win that coin toss, or the D gets the stop, Darnold leads that team to a win. Darnold was bad until he wasn't. The difference was our receivers kept dropping balls. Long term Darnold doesn't look like the answer, but the goddamn 3rd quarter is ruining this team and that falls on the coaches when it's week in and week out..
  12. When healthy this o line might not be the worst Cam ever played behind but it sure wouldn't be one of the best. Cama best bet is a team ready to win now. That is not us.
  13. The most frustrating part of this offense is how it can just click sometimes and blow people away...
  14. Darnold would probably have had at least 1 more TD, close to 65% completion percentage and probably over 300 yards if we'd had half or a two thirds fewer drops... 10 drops is insane.
  15. What kind of future at QB are you expecting them to find mid season? I'm done with retreads personally... We moved on from Teddy and if Sam doesn't improve I think we will from him as well.
  16. I don't think he's the answer for us but if he can take that 4th quarter and play with that confidence and urgency all game, he could prove me wrong.
  17. He was very good on the FG drive too. DJ dropped a TD or we may never have needed OT...
  18. 4th quarter redemption for sure, but man did he look bad thru most of the game. Not getting any help at all... We had what 10 drops??
  19. Holy poo, ok, Sam play like that more often you fuger lol
  20. Holy poo DARNOLD lead a motherfuxogkrjeh comeback
  21. I just don't even understand. Darnold finally looks decent and he gets no help from our main playmakers....
