  1. Would you say: "Bryce Young won us the game yesterday"
  2. He didn't lose us the game. Did JT Sanders do enough for us to win? In the sense the team won, I think the players did enough for us to win, Bryce included. Do I think Bryces game, in it's totality, was one of the main factors in our victory? No.
  3. I don't think we'll agree here. I am not some huge Bryce hater but I think yesterday was bad. But we won't end up agreeing and no reason to keep going back and forth. Hopefully he plays better ultimately regardless of what we think of yesterday
  4. He also escapes pressure pretty well. But ultimately the QBs job is to move the ball and he struggles with that.
  5. By popular request from a poster in another thread. The best plays he made yesterday were with his legs tbh so this doesn't show that. But man was that a rough outing.
  6. Bryce Young had a bad game. It happens. Contributions? Sure he contributed. So did JT Sanders. I don't see you taking up the mantle of his protector. I've legit said he had some good plays but had a bad game overall. You're being intellectually dishonest by insisting that a bad game was somehow a good one, when I know you've seen enough football to recognize bad football.
  7. I think all options are on the table... But don't force a QB in the draft. See who lands where to us, and either way we NEED a veteran FA more than anything. Dalton is done.
  8. Bryce DID have a bad game. What game were you watching? He consistently missed players and threw an INT. He was bailed out of several others. He had some good plays but he was overall bad. Winning a game doesn't mean he had a good game.
  9. Chad Pennington had multiple 3k yard seasons and took two teams to the post season in a time when passing offense was much more limited. Bryce Young is not Chad Pennington. Pennington was an average QB. Bryce nearly cost us the game. In the same sense that JT Sanders helped us win the game, so did Bryce.
  10. So your opinion is that Rico's production is easily replaceable?
  11. At some point we will need a QB that can burn them in situations like that. But I'll take the win against one of the best teams in the league and give props to the coaches and players that made it happen.
  12. He is, but I think he's either still coning back from his injury or playing with a loss of confidence since coming back. Rico is better either way but early in the year Chuba looked more decisive and stronger than he does now
  13. The Packers sold out to stop the run entirely too, and we couldn't risk a sack or interception. It frustrated me but Canales knows his team well
  14. I think in this case in the fourth quarter the game was clearly out of reach, so I agree. But I do think other times players will refuse to go out and you don't want to foster an atmosphere of giving up. But down 30... Yeah...
  15. There's very clear improvement in the team and coaching staff and hopefully we do see that built on thru the second half of the season
  16. I think TB probably wins our division but who knows. As to you guys, I think you still have a solid shot. I get the concern but you're still on top of your division now, and I wouldn't be surprised if that continues. You'll probably win 3 of 4 vs Vikings and Bears, beat NYG, and at least one of Philly, Denver, and Baltimore. I think the division may come down to the 2nd game vs the Lions.
  17. Still lots of football to play. 5-2-1 isn't a bad place to be. I think you guys looked past us. I wouldn't be surprised if you beat Philly.
  18. One of his handful of good games... If he can ever get to a consistently high level, then he'd change minds. As it is... Meh.
  19. I mean Bryce could play well. He changed some minds late last year, but it appears it was an aberration based on his overall play this year.
  20. Yeah for sure. We can't look past anyone because we are entirely reliant on Rico. Hopefully we can find something else to get going because we will need it. But the fact that we beat the bad teams we've played has me confident.
  21. We did beat the Jets... It's possible this team is different.
  22. Oh damn okay. For some reason I thought Evans was going to be back late in the year, but tbh I don't pay a ton of attention to our division rivals until we're up to play them.
  23. I haven't looked when those two return, but I was expecting them to be back by our second game if not earlier. They're not out for the year, are they?
