Horn looks good, Rico is incredible, TMac is open almost every play. This offense has some real talent -

XL goes for a TD there if not for the holding, heh. -

Tet was WIDE open, holy poo -
I do not consider 2 TFL, 3 hurries and 1.5 sacks in 4 games to be top edge stats. Clearly you do, so, just a difference of opinions. I guess his 1 full sack may have come in whatever game of theirs I didn't see lol. He was outside the top 10 in pressures and sacks. Honestly last year was quite like his time with the Panthers, but with more tackles (one more game than with us though). Not saying he hasn't always been good, but I'm not sure I agree he was great last year. Just a difference of opinion though. Last year seemed like a typical Burns year - good player, gets some pressure, has trouble finishing this year is different.

This is exactly my take. I've never seen someone so almost incredibly impressive. He had so many narrow misses. Maybe he's put it all together... I just wasn't sure he deserved that contract at first.
-
He's been great this year... I was talking about last year.
-
The only games I watched he did very, very little. I think in 3 or 4 NFC East games I saw he had 1 sack and a handful of pressures for what felt like a fortune. I'm pretty sure he ran right by a QB like he used to do for us, heh. I didn't just look at sacks, I watched games. I forgot he was even on the Giants at one point until someone here said something in a game day thread, lmao

I mean especially talking offense...

I mean, last year he didn't really look great. I am skeptical he'll keep this up but good for him if he does

Nic Scourton- PFF Highest Rated Rookie (Week 5)

For once, it doesn't feel like we are needing to wait for our rookies to develop to tell if they have something. Feels very impactful -
2020 was easily better. 50 less yards in 2 fewer games with 10 more TDs. Personally I also think 2016 was a better year because of usage Whether career or whatever though 2023 was a great year for him.

At least this draft is promising early, as opposed to recent drafts, heh. Not needing to wait for early drafted players to develop and make an impact... What a weird feeling. -

If we land starters consistently from two of our first three picks and a sprinkle of starters and backups from the rest, it's a pretty solid draft, imo, allowing for a couple misses without crippling is. More than that and it starts to approach excellent territory. 2025 is already looking great on those counts -
They definitely had good reason to wonder and even be upset. It's good the team corrected it. The reality is any large org (especially one that, ahem, may not be run with fans in mind) will occasionally make really questionable mistakes over stupid interpretations / implementations of rules and as long as it gets corrected it can hopefully be something that fades into the past.

T-Mac is already a very good receiver in this league and we've all seen how open he's been and how often deep balls miss him... We also did bring in a second very good back (and arguably one better out of the backfield as a pass catcher, tho Hubbard has improved a lot in that area) as a weapon as well. And fwiw, that back just went for more than 200 yards, which may not be an aerial benefit to Bryce but helps him as the leader of the offense.
-
What evidence do you have that Bryce had one of the best deep balls in college? Just curious because outside of highlights it seemed he wasn't very good there. His strength seemed more escaping the pocket and playing outside structure of the offense, rather than a deep ball. His arm was always considered sort of meh - good enough but not great.

Edit: whoah, somehow I just double posted an hour apart

I get the frustration but the reality is that it's very hard to evaluate guys this year beyond TMac because of the position that is supposed to get them the ball.
