  1. Coker fought hard for yards yesterday... There was one play I hoped for him to get a first down but a lot of that is scheme and where balls are thrown. When an offense isn't stressing opponents deep is there's lots of people to gang tackle intermediate yardages. The problem most of the year with YAC has been how Bryce floats balls. It allows defenders to close. We've seen it time and again... But on the YAC discourse Bryce has pretty much half his yards this season from YAC which is pretty much spot on for the players with the most YAC. He's just thrown for very little because... Well yeah. Happy for him and his performance yesterday. Something to build on for sure
  2. Bryce's toughness has impressed. He's resilient for sure. Been one of his big strengths even when playing poorly. The combination yesterday was fantastic.
  3. He had already reinjured the ankle but yeah. Caused a turnover on downs because it happened on 4th and inches too
  4. Anyway some people mistake rooting for their favorite player on a team no matter what as the definition of fandom but that's not at all the case.
  5. Decided not to use AI for once?
  6. Frankly he's more likely to lose his job if we lose out and Bryce DOESNT turn into a pumpkin. If Bryce goes back to how he's been most of this year, Canales definitely comes back, so long as the team still fights hard.
  7. It does feel like the guys are believing. If they want to be winners, it takes efforts like today. I hope we never see another game like NO the rest of the season.
  8. at least he's looking down field, lol
  9. No kidding, now we see why Gabriel has been starting... Yuck
  10. Rams win, 61 yard fg is wide right... Wasted a little too much time on that drive IMO
  11. Something to be said for the fact that he just keeps coming back, lmao
  12. they had 2 CBs on the injury report, so there is that. But everyone is banged up this time of year, so...
  13. Alright, fair - I agree that it makes a huge difference when we can have the threat of the intermediate and deep throws. Amusingly, it didn't really open up the run game - The Falcons kept saying, "So beat us, Bryce." And he did... He'll need to do it again this season a few times.
  14. Despite 4 INTs they are only down by 2... Insane. They may still win this game.
  15. I don't think it is a DC problem, personally, given how we have executed those plays in past games.
  16. the issue has always been consistency. Hopefully he can do this over and over. I'm skeptical but happy to be wrong, lol
  17. JAX didn't even punt all game. Wild. 3 total rushing TDs and 190 yards, damn.
  18. Maybe Sam will get the BadSam out now and he can settle in for the rest of the season, lol
  19. Just need a couple more drafts like this 2025 one.
  20. Darnold just collapsing is really sad to see.
  21. At the start of this season I said what I wanted to see from Bryce was more consistency. Unfortunately, the consistency we'd seen was the opposite of what we wanted, for the most part, otehr than today Today was incredible. Whatever he did this week to prepare - do it again.
  22. My issue with posts like this is it puts ALL the blame on the receivers to "do their jobs." I think this game proves what the offense can be when Bryce can throw accurately downfield. The problem is, he hasn't been able to. Coker has been open consistently. T-Mac has been getting separation. But a lot of times our guys have had to catch terrible balls and that prevents YAC. On top of that, we've all seen Bryce just... miss people. Bryce came out focused and played HARD, gave a huge gutsy performance. I hope he follows this up with more performances like that. And sure, our WRs need to continue to play hard, but I think it's unfair to claim they haven't been (other than XL, but yeah...)
  23. He threatened all over the field. Big kudos to him. One minor note - one of his TDs was just a ~5 yard pass. Still, hard fought TD by TMac there and great to see.
  24. Being a Panthers fan does not require blind support for a player. Bryce had a great game today - he gets kudos. He's had atrocious games in the recent past, and those also matter. Hopefully moving forward we see the better Bryce because we need him to play better to win.
  25. Games like this make Bryce even more frustrating. If he can play like this, why doesn't he do so more often? Either way, I'm happy for him and the team. Hopefully something for himt o build on.
