  1. Sometimes all it takes is a player's passion (Luvu here) to turn things around. uh they don't play the same position
  2. yes, our shitty backup is shitty. meanwhile, our defense we've spent a ton of resources on is making Andy fuging Dalton look like a superstar
  3. If we're going to a base 3 front why would we trade Burns? He'd be significantly more successful outside a 4-3...
  4. It happens. The only thing I'm looking forward to in this game is seeing if we can get Moore his 1k yards, and if Darnold can keep executing. Not the best of starts, but oh well.
  5. Moore slowed down expecting the usual underthrow- turns out it was on target. That's a TD if Moore keeps going
  6. I would have liked them to interview him but it does sound like there's something weird about his demands. Maybe it is just full control
  7. Kipers first couple mocks seem based on agents giving him cash to promote their player
  8. Sometimes fans disagree on the meaning of game manager. For some people it means someone who doesn't have the ability to take over a whole game and dominate it entirely, regardless of their play style, such that they're the contrast to a franchise player that you expect to do those things. For others it means someone that plays a limited style of offense where the primary goal is to avoid turnovers no matter what, limiting deep throws etc., Basically not a gunslinger. Times in his career Jake did just manage games. Other times, though, he was a gunslinger tossing the ball up and down the field. So, eh, I dunno. I'd never call him a game manager on the whole personally but the term is just used different by different folks.
  9. I think we (as fans) can say Darnold has significantly elevated his play and was quite above average to very good the last few games (depending on the game)... And STILL think he isn't the answer at QB. I want a franchise guy we build around due to his ability in crunch time to win the game.
  10. Traditional and advanced stats all say this is a different Darnold, but he's still unable to lead the team to a win when it's all on his shoulders
  11. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35385319/damar-hamlin-injury-most-important-part-bills-safety-story I'm pretty hard on ESPN but there's some very touching stories about Hamlin in this article. Overall I've appreciated their coverage of what happened quite a bit.
  12. He was for TB, don't you think? And no, but that's because I don't believe "once a SB winner, always a SB winner."
  13. Lol this is a statement that leaves the door wide fuging open for him to go. He's just covering his ass so people don't decommit yet in case he doesn't get the job.
  14. No way. The precedent that sets is beyond awful
  15. I believe it has happened to high school kids playing lacrosse too
  16. Not a medical doctor but I do think cpr for that long a time can itself cause some damage, plus all of the other complications you mentioned... Aka I don't think we should assume we were wrong about what happened yet. Been a long time since I took a CPR class though. One of the doctors on the forum will know more, I'm sure.
  17. He wasn't doing anything unusual or wrong. There are plays we sometimes might feel were deliberate to hurt someone... This was nothing at all like that. Even without the dumbasses blaming him I am sure he would feel guilty, as I think any sane human would. But he did nothing wrong at all.
  18. If he'd kept at the pace he has with Sam these last few games he'd have 14 TDs on the year. That isn't bad.
  19. And that's with our motley crew of misfit QBs... He and Darnold finally have chemistry after how long?
