  1. We'll see if he has a playoff push in him
  2. He's definitely done not great games, or at least games where he's pretty critical of the players decisions. But they're not super common, understandably - the market is smaller for that stuff.
  3. Great stuff. Didn't realize how open TMac was on that awesome play to Coker too (not a criticism of Bryce)
  4. I watch every one of our games and quite a few Saints games. I look at performance in aggregate and not that one time that a player made a play or sucked. Pass block win rate is irrelevant to how slippery Bryce is. Our OL is much better than the Saints overall (but is still not amazing at pass protection). Shough basically has half a second less in the pocket on average than Bryce has... So if you think Bryce is having to bail fast, well...
  5. If the saints have good pass protection you must really like the Panthers pass protection given how much higher their pass block win rate is, how many fewer sacks they've given up, and how much more time our QBs have to throw. (The Panthers are about league average and the Saints are 30th in pass block win rate)
  6. I think he's been playing injured for a few weeks now. He definitely did not look right.
  7. We have a good rookie TE in relatively limited usage, a OROTY candidate in a rookie WR, a rookie made the game-ending pick, and a rookie got us the game winning points. This is more than just Scourton's play imo.
  8. For CPOE, Bryce is still at -0.6 on the season, good for 23rd in the league. He's been good there the last few weeks but was terrible for the weeks before (-2.9, -0.7, +0.1, -6.6, -4.2).
  9. Bearing Seattle is absolutely something this team can do, but you're also right they can lose to anyone, so who knows.
  10. I think you're right. He's apparently had 5 TDs in the last five games. If he tacks on another two or three and totals over 1k, especially if we win the division, I feel like he gets it.
  11. The refs have been insanely inconsistent the last few weeks with DPI. They're definitely letting corners play TMac very physically.
  12. He's got 7 now it looks like (I have last count)... 1k is definitely within reach. https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/4685472/tetairoa-mcmillan Hoping he can put up 75ish each of the next two weeks with a TD or three.
  13. We're well below the league average on points per possession, so it isn't just ball control / defense. The reality is our offense, especially our passing offense (rushing is ranked 10th, passing 26th), isn't moving the ball well overall. But hey, we're winning and at least to me we are ahead of schedule as a team (I thought next year was competing for the division).
  14. He's been good at protecting the ball overall the second half of the season it seems.
  15. horn getting DPI for waving a finger and that mfer just tackled someone before the ball was even there, hahaha. also Drake Maye is damn good
  16. Part of that may be Bryce's trouble past his first read, though I don't know how those stats look the last few weeks, but he was *terrible* for a while
  17. Thanks for this... Any D numbers yet?
  18. All of our receivers do I think, the play calls aren't bad in that regard. But XL just doesn't seem to care, it sucks. We're lucky Coker has looked so good. Hopefully Horn takes off too!
  19. It'll probably be TMac or Egbuka, depending on the last few weeks.
  20. What else happened at the end of the 2020 season? How did Darnold continue to plague him in Arizona, Miami, Washington? Or could it be that once he was paid... Then things started to change? As to DJ vs TMac, we'll see how it goes. I think you may be underplaying TMac's ability to get separation. He frequently gets open, sometimes very open. He's averaging 2.7 yards of separation this year; DJ averaged 2.6 in 2019, 2.5 in 2020, 2.7 in 2021, and 2.8 in 2022. DJ is faster, but TMac is very fast too. DJ is more explosive but TMac's size gives him real potential to be a true #1. He looks better than DJ did as a rookie, but who knows what'll happen in future seasons.
  21. I don't think things are fixed in the sense of Vegas calling in to the refs to order calls, but either the refs are incredibly incompetent, or they are making calls in non-objective and inconsistent ways. Some of the replay calls have been insane the last couple weeks.
  22. Rico looks like he is playing injured. He isn't hitting holes the same way or running over people anymore. Chuba, however, is dragging people like he always has when healthy. I would like for us to try to get Rico some recovery time if he needs it. Chuba is capable of handling the complete load.
  23. How the heck did Darnold follow Robbie around to Arizona and Miami and Washington to ruin him? C'mon man. Robbie was the problem (Darnold was also a problem in 2021 lol). It's funny cause all I'm doing is saying both DJ and TMac are fuging awesome. As to DJ being perfect for Bryce, I'm not sure, but I would have loved to have still had DJ. We went for TMac because Bryce is pretty inaccurate downfield and you do need to threaten vertically. Tmac has been great there.
