He seems to always get them a first down when they need it. I haven't really seen Laporta break games open like the other guys, either. I think they're both great TEs, just not really incredible like the other two you mentioned.

Yeah I'll call bullshit on only good in the 2nd half. Go look at the last two drives of the first half footage. Actually watch the game. Stroud struggled Q1. Turned it around in Q2. Did you even watch the game? Kinda sounds like you didn't. Bryce has had 12 OK games as a starter... Let's hope he continues it... But the reason we need to focus on "the end of the year" is because that's the only time in the last 2 years Bryce has looked looked respectable...

Bryce is a threat on the ground but he's not the kind of threat you want to take guys out of coverage for. It'll be interesting if rushers start playing to contain instead of collapse the pocket immediately. If that happens, he'll get a few more seconds (milliseconds anyway lol) for routes to develop too. In that case, more/better offensive (whether developed or acquired) will be critical

I agree with this. Bryce is very elusive and fast. But he's not going to be someone you spy because of intentional runs. And if defenses start spying him he will have a ton of passing opportunities open up.

He had a bit of a slump, sure. But if he was pedestrian, what was Bryce? They had basically the same TD% and INT%, while Stroud had a higher completion %, more yards/game, more first downs / game, a better QB rating, a lower bad throw %, but less success rushing... So meh... They're both young QBs showing different amounts of success but both with promise.
