If the wheels had come off / the Cowboys game had been a return to bad, and we'd lost out to the point we could draft Sanders or Ward, maybe, but we need defense no matter what and frankly we'll be in a good position for it this draft. Bryce has played us out of a different QB. QB isn't our biggest need for once, but there's still a question mark on long term. We'll see how he does next year, hopefully with some competition in camp, ideally with an improved defense.

I mean, dude had 3 TDs. But he failed to ice the game in regulation. He missed some open receivers but had a few great throws. Either way, he didn't unravel completely after last week which I think is a major win. He'll have competition in the QB room next year and the team will be better for it.

Eh it's different imo. This team has been contending with top teams and then gets blown out. They needed this bounce back and to find a way to win. Not like we were really in contention for one of the top QBs anyway, so I'm less worried about position.

Canales has some very good play design. I do think his playcalling gets ridiculous sometimes but he's working with a limited vertical passing attack.
