  1. No way Deion allows that. But it would be a good decision overall imo.
  2. Bryce has had some incredible drives and great throws, but he's missed a lot and had plenty of bad throws - including some he gets bailed out on by AT. I think he's very inconsistent which is why he'll do something like having some of the most "big time" throws but not pass for more than 300 yards over the stretch. He's had a handful of overall very good games and an equal number of meh games. Ultimately the inconsistency means he's about average. He's so, so much better than last year it's easy to miss that.
  3. How is our situation the worst? We have a receiver that is regularly top 5 in separation. Promising young TE and WR, tho we can't get them the ball...We have a top 10 OL... Well now that Hubbard is out we are in a much worse spot, lol. But for most of the season we weren't...
  4. NE is worse in every way I think, lol. Watching them play is painful. It's a good question. Outside of QB - and including the OL - which teams are worse overall this year, given injuries etc? We have a top 10 line and running game, and thus a decent scoring offense. We have a very good #2 level receiver in AT. I'd need to pay closer attention to some rosters but my instinct is NE, CLE, JAX, TEN, CHI, NYG, HOU(receivers better by a lot for those last 3 but not others - and HOU has been decimated by injuries) are below us in overall O talent other than QB. There may be others, I've not watched many bubble teams this year. I think there's probably 20 QBs that easily look as good or better than Bryce on this offense, with virtually every starting rookie QB and Stroud on that list. But Bryce is definitely improving and that may not be true next season.
  5. Very true. We had a couple good drives in a row - if we had a decent kicker we would have come out of the half with a chance to make it a one score game. My big concern with the offense is consistency. But our best weapon was out, so...
  6. Honestly you're about to see, imo, one of the best throws of BYs young career on a TD to give me hope that we could make the 2nd half interesting... Ah well.
  7. Realistically, Tepper made the wrong choice in Rhule and GMs and the roster suffered. We jettisoned nearly all of our talent for the dream of a franchise QB, and Bryce (could still turn it around I suppose) hasn't been particularly good. His best games have been rather average, while Daniels, like Stroud last year, has been phenomenal at times with a good to decentish defense.
  8. Coker and Sanders were doing pretty well with YAC a couple games ago (as in their percent of yards from YAC). I think scheme is a big reason why we aren't doing better there, but some of it is also personnel and the throws Young seems comfortable with. I think TB had good YAC last year so I'm not sure how much it's Canales scheme vs adjusting to Bryce / other personnel.
  9. I don't know how someone could watch this first half, with our best weapon on O out, and conclude that we don't need to worry about defense.
  10. XL was running downfield and stopped and turned to catch a ball that would have been at his knees
  11. There is a lot of growth, I just hope he can develop the same chemistry with other receivers that he clearly has with AT (this isn't some big knock on Bryce for those of you looking for something to be angry about )
  12. Thielen is frequently getting the majority of the attention from DBs. And he's still performing
  13. Don't try to tell me Thielen isn't shredding teams this year, hahahaha fug yeah Bryce, 2 good throws back to back
  14. The D can't get off the field, sure, but our O can't stay ON the field. The D forced 2 FGs but our O couldn't respond on either drive. Both sides of the ball are loaded with injuries/whatever so we can "see" what our young players have...
  15. Not sure I feel like watching the 2nd half when I can for the first time since Bryce came back... This is just awful
  16. That wasn't a jump ball, dude. It was behind Legette... It was underthrown because Bryce was trying to escape pressure and tbh has a bit of a wet noodle for an arm when he can't set his feet
  17. XL was expecting the ball in front of him, not behind him. I don't blame him but he and Bryce are just not on the same page and he can't catch poo anyway so stop fuging throwing to him on these deep routes
  18. Canales' play calling is seriously concerning. Hopefully it's better next year, but he doesn't seem to respect when he needs to slow games down
