If we keep our offense, I agree. If you put Bryce on this Texans offense it would be UGLY. Not as bad as Stroud but whatever this Texans offense is, it won't function for a young QB.

Stroud deserves a ton of blame but balls bouncing off receivers, his arm being hit or he's being pulled down seconds into a drop back, dudes just not blocking. Do they even have positive rushing yards? Lol... It's pathetic. Stroud may be done as a starter but I bet if he goes to be a backup at SF or STL he comes back in 3 years. He's clearly shaken but part of that is he's being hit and nobody around him is able to make even basic plays

I mean I'm pretty sure Bryce wouldn't even attempt a pass beyond the los and Stroud is being just manhandled back there. Bryce is more evasive but he'd be getting wrecked, and he can't really deliver the balls into tight spaces the way Stroud can. And these receivers are fuging garbage lol

It's weird. Game on the line, Bryce would force it to AT. He refuses to do that to Coker or TMac it seems. And I think at times you need to let your playmakers make plays

Id prefer a QBR measure that just included fumbles and rushing yards / TDs... I think that is the major limitation of QB rating as it stands, the modern game does include more from QBs than passing. But ESPN QBR is like a mashup of PFF rating and real stats disguised as an objective measure.

I know... I'm curious what exactly the OP thinks this means. He had a decent game, as did a number of quarterbacks. Not all of them won their games, heh. Ultimately his season was pretty bad lol

Are we including their contracts? Haha. If so I'd add Lawrence and maaaaaybe Herbert to the list I wouldn't trade for (I'd probably still take Herbert lol). I was happy with Bryce's performance and all but the op seems to think we should read more into it than I think we need to.
