More and more, I wonder what it is Rivera does during half time, and how the hell he hasn't fired our special teams coaches. How do you NOT see that coming? -

I think I've seen it a few times. Good news is the Panthers pull it out on some late Cam Newton heroics. Would really like to not need the late heroics, personally. -

Defense really needs to step up or we will lose this game. The offense will get us more points at some point (hopefully sooner rather than later), but if we can't force the seahawks to punt.... -

if you watched this team at all the 2nd half of the season, you had to expect this. -

I don't think the Seahawks need the refs help. The one consistent thing about this team all year is that when they get a big lead they let good teams back into it. -
Probably. Maybe offsetting if what Jones did was that bad to him. But it was a TENSE situation and letting that coach just go around doing poo was a bad move, especially given what had already happened in that game.

I didn't understand why there was a Steelers assistant over in a group of Bengals players but I couldn't see what was going on.
-
They claimed to show a replay of it, but I didn't see a penalty and couldn't see what happened. It was frustrating because the announcers talked like it was touching an official but I saw nothing ot indicate that.
-
big blank post to me... what's in it?
-
this is the penalty I have issue with... but maybe something happened I couldn't see...
-
he sold it right into the concussion protocol, so we'll see if you're right.

Pulling for the Bengals until......

i'm frustrated with the refs call on #24, but when you got a rep, you're going to get calls like that. burfict call seemed the right one though. -
I don't believe Brown sold the hit. I think he was knocked the fug out. That hit was brutal, even if it was unintentional.
-
no reason to kneel, but your guys should absolutely know the ONE THING YOU DONT DO IS FUMBLE. don't fight for yards, just get the fug down.
-
Not sure Burfict was trying to hit Brown how he did, but he was going in hot. However, Lewis didn't control the remaining chaos and get his guys under control to try to hold the Steelers to a 50+ yrd try and instead, one of his other hottheads apparently shoved someone. Very frustrating way to see a game end. As someone that has no strong feeling for either team, I was beyond angry to see the refs play such a huge role in how his ended, even if the first flag was probably the right call.
-
I'm unconvinced that Lewis can keep that team disciplined. Regardless of the circumstances, they should have won that game, and they didn't, with no small part due to lack of discipline.
-
It was definitely shoulder to the helmet, but it was 100% unintentional. still a foul. didn't even see what 24 did.
-
Have to imagine Lewis gets fired after this. The total breakdown in the last minute... Hate when refs decide the game like that. Burfict's hit, fine, but... ffs.

This team plays like this it's one and done in the playoffs. Total trash on offense. Mvp? We will see next week. -
Official Panthers - Giants Gameday Thread

I said earlier in the week I expected more Saints and less Falcons out of this game. Defense and offense both have plenty to work on from that second half... Not to mention special teams. If not for that blocked fg this entire games tenor changes...
