  1. The difference imo is that includes the doldrums of the end of Fox (2010 was... Very bad) but 2011 and 2012 were to me more optimistic because of how fuging good Cam looked in those first couple years... The long term future to me just doesn't seem as bright now, but Rivera and Cam did really come together at the end of the period you highlight so maybe Rhule and Cam can figure something out over the next bit...
  2. Our playbook was limited before Darnold started to suck, tho. It's why the Cowboys pointed out for the world how they knew our routes... Which the eagles capitalized on. I thought that meant Darnold didn't know the offense well enough for variable calls but man it looks the same no matter who we have at QB in that regard. Teams just know our plays...
  3. Yup. Heine is playing well but part of that is feeding McLaurin
  4. It isn't unique to Turner. There's been a few situations where it feels like we were figured out in high pressure situations. I think we have the talent to turn that around tho.
  5. This defense has folded in high pressure situations multiple times this year. But there's 2 halves, plenty of time. Gilmore not on Mclaurin is so confusing tho
  6. Its like they heard that Cam Newton guy was back so pressure was off.
  7. I think those teams are also some of the ones that invest most in very very good OLs. I do hate holding as a call, because it can be called on nearly every play. It's why I think the rule needs to change. But WFT is moving the ball because they're just beating our D at the line of scrimmage...not uncalled holding. Imo anyway. And then they go and have a false start on 4th and inches haha
  8. Defense needs to step the fug up. This is fuging Washington
  9. I don't think that is the case. We do get holding calls, just not as many as we'd like. WFT has an incredibly good OL too. Last year we were pretty low: https://www.nflpenalties.com/penalty/offensive-holding?year=2020&view=team This year we are much higher but IMO that is a reflection on how bad our OL is and how long they had to hold blocks for Darnold: https://www.nflpenalties.com/penalty/offensive-holding?view=team&year=2021 Note Dallas is ahead of us and lots of us have said refs favor them. And we are middle of the pack as beneficiaries.
  10. Man cams vision is so elite, and he is so effortlessly fast
  11. Holding is a shitty penalty, but the idea that ref crews are deliberately fuging the Panthers over against every opponent is dumb. I'm not gonna argue bullshit calls in a superbowl lol but this isn't that.
  12. The idea the refs are deliberately out to get this team against the Washington Football Team is wacky. Every drive has holding that could be called. It just does. It's a stupidly defined penalty that is never enforced in a way fans like...
  13. It reminds me of how they treated Darnold but with someone completing most of those passes
  14. Lol why are we the only team that never seems to have particularly open receivers?
  15. Holding is Barely called these days. Just is what it is.
  16. Looking a bit like some players and coaches already thinking playoffs like some fans. But it's just a few drives... Still time to adjust.
  17. That drive had nothing to do with the refs. Just good offense.
  18. High powered Washington offense really taking it to this defense...
  19. Just seems to be around the ball on every play he can be.
  20. I have to say the way Rhule gets some of these guys on D to play so far above their previous regular levels does give me hope he's the coach we all want.
