  1. I just hate actually having a really good RT....and then moving him so we end up not having any actually good lineman. Not doubt Moton is the best option likely at LT. But I'd rather us get at LT. Crazy, I know.
  2. looks like we found one. Some sleeper cell poster from a rival team just outed himself. Let me see if I can remember where that ban button is.
  3. I pray some old vet LT gets cut later and we can rent them for a year.
  4. backup QBs are only brought up because of one reason. Sam Darnold isn't even in Teddy Bridgewater's QB tier to date.
  5. PJ Walker lead the offense to 4 scoring drives in a half. Pretty sure that is positive, especially given it was the first action on the year and he only has 1 NFL start to his name.
  6. think you got to keep him until you find a replacement body. Which likely wouldn't be until final cuts.
  7. he is going into his 3rd season and has started games on the OL the last 2 years. I mean, it's great to get something for him. If you are Miami? He is probably better than grabbing an offensive lineman with a 7th round pick.
  8. Ron remains my favorite human that has ever coached here
  9. But but but…Rhule said he needed to not play his starters to figure out these 5 cuts. No NFL coach would just be up their bullshitting us about these things
  10. Minshew is more the school ground QB IMO. That why he had more success than Darnold to date. He is better at making something happen IMO
  11. If he is the guy from the Jets we will be picking in the middle of the pack. that’s the Darnold problem. We got to 8 last year because CMC essentially misses the entire season
  12. the bar is what we have. Minshew has been better in the NFL than Darnold. I don't buy an arguement that Darnold has a higher ceiling either. I mean, we aren't getting Minshew. But if all things we even and you got the option to pick one....Minshew is the better gamble. But if gambling on one is all your actual plan is....well, that remains a bad plan.
  13. Yeah, I would guess Pride as one of the 5. I'll guess one of the RBs too. Smith maybe.
  14. I think the fumble was just lack of NFL caliber reps and awareness. defenders are faster and better. I feel he felt he was in a safe position and wasn’t prepared for someone catching him from behind him. that was a TD in college
  15. about to hit a weird window when in comes to QBs/WRs IMO. Statically, there are just going to be so many with comparable numbers to Hall of Famers.
  16. Cam gets weird. He is #1 all time in rushing TDs by a QB at 70. Second place is Steve Young with 43. He is #2 all time in rushing yards by a QB only trailing Vick. He needs 711 yards to jump Vick. Which means Cam just needs to log probably 2 more seasons.
  17. 89 and Luke 100% get in. Peppers IMO has the best odds of being put in as a first ballot.
  18. also, the busts get weird. I mean, Mariota vs Manuel for example. Serviceable player vs doesn't belong in the league.
  19. Odds aren't high the entire class busts. Especially Trevor and Fields both busting IMO. I think it is a safe bet at least one of them becomes a legit franchise QB. There college resumes answered a lot more questions IMO than your standard top tier prospect.
  20. Yeah, I think Minshew would be viewed by the players and fans as Darnold competition more so than PJ competition. And I think that is too sensitive of an area for this staff to mess with Menshew
  21. I don’t care about Will Grier getting reps. I’d like our projected OL to get some real game reps. Darnold too. Rhule even went into detail how the practice reps his starters got don’t compare to the preseason game reps. OL isn’t getting cut. Everyone is staying on their feet. backups had a ton of penalties in the game. Starters got to get that worked out too. those guys haven’t earned the games off playoff teams have Horn. I want him to get reps. His game needs work. Preseason is where he should be learning his college grabby play doesn’t translate and where the new lines are drawn. Will Grier can kneel down milk the clock down for all I care lol
  22. We are rebuilding back to back 5 win team. Not a returning playoff team. Reich set the practices up and ran them how he wanted. For his team. Teams like the Colts are resting their starters. Rhule admitted he had no input on how the practices would be set up. He almost bragged about not having any of input. Was weird.
  23. Yep, following the lead of 11 win playoff teams that have different priorities.
  24. Yeah, he showed some real promise IMO. Looked great for a rookie thrown into the mix on a bad team. it isn’t going to happen here though.
