  1. Felt like Fitt even read the room and added a don’t forget about Rhule handout. Everyone we had Matt call Bill with what we wanted and he didn’t fold. Good job Matt. Matt can do things!
  2. Well, it could be that our GM is sick and tired of Sam Darnold IMO. Because Sam stinks and now he has control. But realized he still shouldn’t of said what he did. I mean he has been on a mission pretty clearly to unseat Sam as our QB option.
  3. Brady, Rodgers, Brees were all tops in the league in theirs 20s too. Same for Wilson who isn’t over 35. That’s was just a weird narrative that QBs somehow don’t get good until retirement age. Also doesn’t mention Watson who they just tried to trade the farm for. I don’t think Rhule wanted to draft a QB.
  4. Matt Rhule doesn’t look happy. Maybe he is just tired but there does seem to be something. Also, he said all the best QBs in the NFL are old. Over the age of 35. That it’s an older players position WTF? Rodgers and Brady were among the best before 35. They just happen to still be playing lol.
  5. I’m okay given it was a 3rd for a 3rd. 3rd round was good place to land any of those top QBs of this draft.
  6. Think if a trade happens into the 3rd it would be the Patriots or 49ers. Maybe the Jets if somehow Washington and Detroit pass on QBs.
  7. Got to think that area where the Lions and Washington go back to back is where a QB might go
  8. at least he has a sense of humor and is taking things too serious
  9. Technically not last. We have the 32nd pick in the 4th. There are comp picks after that.
  10. We don’t have our standard 4th though. We traded that one away in the Sam deal. We pick last in the 4th.
  11. Well the you tube chicken wing guy was way better than that old man NFL player that talked for 30 minutes before announcing… but yeah, just have Goodell do it all as he efficiently does it while getting booed
  12. Well, plenty of HOFers got drafted in the 3rd. Likely? Maybe not. But the 2 GOATs came in the 3rd and 6th at the position. All picks are lotto tickets to a degree.
  13. Dang, at this rate a QB might also be available with the 4th round pick. Not the one we have but the one we also traded for Sam Darnold lol
  14. We might be a little thin on leadership too. No offense intended to Zylstra. But that’s a weak welcome lol.
  15. Can probably count on one hand the number of first round picks (top 10) cast off after one season though. It’s a giant red flag. Jags or not.
  16. The team that drafted him cast him off after one season. He might not be a bust….but he is red flag.
  17. I suspect Rhule wants Baker. Fitterer doesn’t. McAdoo doesn’t. Baker seems like a Rhule move to salvage the best record possible to save face and dig himself out of a hole.

    Noooooo

This is just your steady reminder Tepper is full of poo. They aren’t slowly building anything the right way. He strikes out with QBs and then scrambles to acquire failed QBs.
  19. well, it’s being reporter on by legit reporters. So 89 probably is just reading what everyone else can
  20. No cost involved? I’d rather watch Baker. Cost involved? I’d rather lose with Sam.
  21. we don't do that stuff here. Fall in line please.
  22. He scapegoated Joe Brady because the football world demanded a sacrfice and he even managed to do that wierd becaue he waited until after the bye week was over..... and the offense and all it's problems remained indentical. That's not change. big time coaches are what they are.
  23. I mean, I'd put being adjusted to the speed of the NFL aside. Everyone has to come in and get use to the difference. That's a seperate thing. PJ Walker has an edge there. Jimmy Clausen would. QB isn't about being big, strong, fast, etc for the most part. Yeah, Sam has a lot of that stuff. Tom Brady has none of that. QB is a mental game largely. And a game of how you react to pressure. Pending you aren't a freak like Lamar, not saying he doesn't have the mental game but if he didn't......he could just be an athlete behind center and be okay. Sam is drastically behind in that area and why he sucks. He implodes offenses because he fugs up the plays. He doesn't read the field right. He doesn't have the timing right on plays. Sam can turn a perfect play call into a bad play. That's the same problem. And there are rookies every year ahead of him in that department. Sam is a good athlete. Never been a good QB. Never will.
