Well my imaginary money is on Matt Rhule never getting a call. then Matt Rhule leaks out how Rhule never wanted the job.
-
Same source also hints they likely are to hire from within So you hire from within. then you get to brag about how the in-house guy was a better hire than Rhule and these other external guys you could of pursued but didn’t. and again, the Penn St aspect on top of Rhule imploding in the NFL. Just don’t see how that is realistic for Michigan.
-
I’m not buying that. Think Michigan is hiring in house and just floating they are considering other people to hype up their guy. Rhule just makes no sense to me for a big time program at this point. That window 2020 and his inflated stock has taken major damage.
-
The Rutgers coach was better then Rhule. In both college and the NFL.
-
Baylor was better pre and post Rhule. Baylor is Baylor. Rhule’s brand of football doesn’t lead to anything but not being horrible. and Rhule being overhyped was discussed by many before he busted in the NFL. Again, college Rhule makes Dabo Sweeney look like Belichick. And Dabo doesn’t belong in the NFL. The Matt Rhule project was predictable.
-
Well, it is ridiculous. Michigan couldn’t get away with hiring a Matt Rhule. The alum wouldn’t have it. Not just because he is a Penn St guy but because he has been exposed as incompetent under the big lights and away from small time college football.
-
As long as Michigan doesn’t plan on beating top 25 teams. Matt Rhule is the guy.
-
Vikings just now want it to be clear that you know they just interviewed this guy and totally haven’t made their mind up yet
-
Bears interviewing Joe Brady for a spot on the coaching staff. Setting up a Fields/Brady team up that would sure to be a topic of conversation around here based on whatever does or doesn't happen in Chicago. Rhule would be right or dead wrong (as normal)
-
Why would Michigan fans be excited about a bumbling NFL HC that is drowning? Look at Harbaugh's resume coming in. His college and NFL resume makes Rhule look like a chump. That's a hard sell.
-
Michigan alum would never buy in to Matt Rhule. Michigan would want an attractive hire. Matt Rhule is a small time HC whose stock has dropped. His window for fooling a major college program was when he fleeced Tepper.
-
unless she has the ability and plans to fire Matt Rhule I'll file this under things I give zero fugs about
-
Everyone knows a Matt Rhule. Everyone has had a boss that doesn’t know what they are doing and fugs up the works by adding their touch so they look and feel in charge.

Eli would never see a NFL field again. Perryman a Pro Bowler. BC on the bench. All in on Sam. The Rhule thumbprint

end of the day, Pickett and his agent are drawing more attention to it. Joe Burrow has small hands if going by the word of the old football gods. -

I think Matt Rhule will draft a QB because it is his best shot to angle to get even more time and not be fired. Rhule essentially will attempt to make year 3 his year 1.

bengals clearly don’t understand the Jay Z way

I’m not calling him a criminal. But all the “worries” about him didn’t take place when he was kid and 30 years ago. so if you hire him, the present day media likely could revisit all the incidents as an adult and in doing so you run the risk of new info and people coming forward. So if you hire him, you take that risk. Which is one.
-
well he was a NFL player with the incident with the woman took place and he was a coach at Colorado whose job came to an end when the sexual assault stuff was being investigated. Which is another red flag. Hire him and you are taking the risk any and all of that comes back given he get that caliber of job. And today’s landscape and media is different.
-
I think it is safe bet teams are worried if they hire him his Colorado days are going to be revisited by the present day media. and I would assume there is a risk of the higher profile job people get, the more often you see people from the past coming forward.
