Again, Matt Rhule literally addressed the mindset at the end of the game and the discussion they had. they were content letting the Browns get the ball back with a minute and played it that way. Which is what I said they did. I just used the phrase scared and balled up in the fetal position instead of going for the win/first down
-
Giants ran for 200+ yards and Barkley avg 9 yards a carry. So I wouldn’t say they looked as bad as us. They also held Derrick Henry and the Titans rush attack under 100 yards Jones sucks but they can’t be expected to solve that at this point
-
Matt Rhule said it himself after the game. He didn’t think they could get into FG position with that time….and he played it that way. we needed to go for the first down. That’s how you win. He was content kicking. He said so. They discussed it per Rhule and specifically the belief they didn’t think a NFL can get into FG position late in a game with a freaking minute on the clock.
-
If he missed the kick, the majority of the board would still be calling out all the same stuff. The team was totally unprepared and the game plan was horrible. The kick going in or out doesn’t change that. Or make it less glaring. all that would change is the Rhule defenders would be high stepping in every thread.

We played scared on the final drive and basically curled up in the fetal position…and setup Clev to have a game winning drive. That’s not chest beating momentum.

The Giants used 11 personnel (one running back, one tight end, three wide receivers) an NFL-high 92 percent of the time last season. We spent all last season documenting the Giants' painfully predictable attack. Coach Ben McAdoo and players could brush off that harsh reality then because the defense carried the team to an 11-5 record. https://www.nj.com/giants/2017/10/odell_beckham_said_what_everyone_except_ben_mcadoo.html McAdoo didn’t scout some secret vs the Browns he was trying to exploit. That would be like claiming Teddy B was checking down because he found a weakness he was trying to exploit. McAdoo is what he is
-
McAdoo ran 11 personnel on like 90% of the snaps in NY when he ran the show. It’s a McAdoo thing. Not an Icky thing. McAdoo was blasted for this and run out of NY….and calling plays overall in the NFL. Well, until a desperate man came calling.
-
McAdoo’s calling card once he was in charge was being painfully predictable on O. who is above McAdoo to solve the McAdoo issues here?
-
So you saw the disaster yesterday, what FA are you bringing in?
CRA replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah. Tampa has been top 3 in stopping the run the last 2 years. I suspect they still are. The run sets up Dallas’ O. Dallas didn’t play the Browns. They played TB/Tom Brady and it was a FG fest on both sides. Dallas has one of the best OLs in the NFL and a talented QB. Payton would pick that over a rebuild IMO. -
He wouldn't be my first choice. But there are worse out there. Like going the route we did. I'd take Flores. And I'd rather gamble on a Leftwich than a retread or college hire.
-
I think Flores is the surest thing to get a respectable team up and running. But I'd equate him to being somewhat of a version of Jim Harbaugh to a degree. He isn't going to play around or give a fug about stuff. And might not always play nice with others.
-
is anyone asking Byron Leftwich to leave coaching to be our QB? You generally don't hire coaches based on their performance as players. There wouldn't be coaches if that was the case lol.
-
Matt Rhule has still not learned how to win close games.
CRA replied to Snake's topic in Carolina Panthers
just quoting so people can read it twice -
I'd take Flores. Tepper doesn't seem like the type that wants or would mesh well with a hardass that knows what he is doing though.
-
Dude played QB on a broken leg.

Lack of and predictable

listen, Matt Rhule was clear. If he had just gotten a 53rd snap he could of finally put another WR on the field. He was totally going to put the 1 WR Baker knows well on the field if he had gotten to 53 snaps.
-
I want CMC to get the touches he is paid to get. We shouldn't of paid him but we did. So give him the rock. Barkley, Henry, Taylor, Cook, etc all got over 20 touches this weekend. CMC isn't paid to get committee work. He could get hurt doing anything.

Rhule "Discouraged" About Andre Roberts Availability Week 2
CRA replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
3 guys that have never returned a punt in college or the pros. Laviska apparently recovered a fumble once on a punt return and ended up scoring off it. -
Matt Rhule seems more Vanilla Ice than Jay Z. Ice Ice Baby was Baylor. We are now in that Go Ninja Go Ninja Go Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle phase of the Vanilla Ice career trajectory.
-
Matt Rhule is a used car salesman. He says whatever he has to in the moment. Ben McAdoo has always thrown at a higher clip than Joe Brady did.

Rhule "Discouraged" About Andre Roberts Availability Week 2
CRA replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm a Shi fan....the WR prospect. But our punt returner is now a guy who has never returned a NFL or college punt in an actual game. That's always playing with fire. -
Barkley just went for 164 yards at 9 yards a pop vs the Titans this weekend. He looks pretty healthy and the exact type RB we aren't built to defend. 238 yards on the ground as a team.
-
When did you figure out Rhule was a fraud?
CRA replied to Randolph Panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
lmao I think there is a quote of Rhule somewhere addressing the QB/C fumble in preseason the one time we saw Baker. And yeah, even then he acknowledge the lack of work together Rhule just bullshitting and stealing money at this point -
Is Rhule the worst coach in the NFL right now
CRA replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
teams lose because they don’t know why they lose - Matt Rhule on Matt Rhule
