  1. I only had to keep it up for a week. @poundawaychoose the Brady pic in an attempt to shame me…..because I always argued Joe Brady wasn’t the primary issue with the O. That was Rhule. Firing Brady wouldn’t do anything. The problem was still here. I also trashed McAdoo and told him he was horrific. That he was run out of NY and playcalling in general for his predictable and horrible calls/offense. He said that wasn’t the case on McAdoo. That we actually had a real OC now and I had it all wrong. so I just keep it up. He seems to be too busy these days to post suddenly now though
  2. this is all standard PR talk. All teams do it. Go look at what players have said during the bad days of almost all teams. You could find people singing the political correct songs in Jackonsville last year.
  3. yep. It's a combo job...all of Baker's flaws are highlighted in our offense. A small QB, with a slow windup, that stares down guys.....in a painfully predictable offense. Baker needs to hand it off. Setup play action. Go deeper. Deeper balls require the ball to come out different and with more loft. The short game should be more check down/hot read. The RPO/slant game is too heavily emphasized.
  4. I don’t get why a OT on his heels in pass pro defending a freak like Miles Garrett going left right or through him can’t simply know exactly when superhuman freak Miles Garrett is going to jump and change his momentum and kick him in the balls so he can’t jump. I mean yeah, you want your OL to get hands on a defender. But some of this slow mo all22 hindsight stuff puts some unrealistic expectations on lineman. The quickest means to solve the comedy of batted balls is Ben McAdoo not calling this horseshit nonsense right into the hands of a defense. They know what we are doing. Life is easy. It's too much of the same short stuff to the outside. He can't loft them over. It's not a matter of him not getting his arm angle up high enough. They have to be on a rope. The lineman can get to the ball even if he tinkered with his throwing mechanics because it's the trajectory the ball has to be on those short routes. DL are too big and tall for thinking he just isn't getting his arm up high enough solves something. Kill the RPO junk too. The issue is they know where we are going and playing it. OP is just taking a round about angle to defend Rhule/McAdoo and this shitshow.
  5. Or maybe switch up the playcalling so we aren’t throwing so many quick short balls to outside? Defenses know too often what we are doing and are dictating the RPO stuff too. And yes, that comes real problematic because of Bakers size and throwing mechanics (neither of which were going to change in a couple weeks just because we signed him). Along with our OL isn’t our strength yet. all goes back to the same issue. We are poorly coached. That’s the summary of the batted ball problem in reality.
  6. Phillip Rivers wasn’t having 84 balls batted a game. Everyone isn’t a robot like Peyton.
  7. Yet no mention of the playcalling factoring? we are too RPO heavy, to short and to the outside heavy. They require a certain throw. Defenders know what is coming way too often. They can see the QB. The OL can’t. The timing gets easy.
  8. Plus predictable short passes to the outside. Those require the ball to come in hot and low. it’s all a recipe for what we are seeing. life is easy on those defenders trying to bat what they know is coming down
  9. I’d say Fields is struggling. And they have comically bad talent since he has been there. You don’t need the best RB in the NFL as the solution to comically bad talent. Trevor isn’t struggling anymore. They have a real HC now. and they simply went from no talent to okay talent. Currently has the 8th highest QB rating Mac isn’t struggling in reality. He has a real HC. He has a winning record to date and has competed like 67% of his passes as a pro. You need a good OL, good playcaller and a well built and diverse roster. I’d take all that all day over just having a great RB.

He isn't ready. He addressed that. He essentially called coming in to save Matt Rhule's job last year a mistake. Did nothing but hurt Cam's stock coming into a shitshow. He isn't coming. There will be no one to stop the boos once they really ramp up at BOA. It seems to be cooking up for it to start pretty early this year. And no owner likes there team being loudly booed on TV early in the year at home. It's what got them to go get Cam last year. It's matters.
  11. Tepper bringing Rhule back for a pointless season meant we essentially were tanking before week 1 kicked off. It could only go one way and it is.

Only 3 WRs in the NFL have gotten a higher % of uncatchable balls than DJ Moore.
  13. Correct. It wouldn't of happened with a healthy Cam. It's a QB league. We have a losing record with CMC and every QB he has been paired with since Cam got hurt. It doesn't matter if CMC is the best RB in the NFL. That's not how you win.
  14. the league is full of productive runners. I didn't say it was full of top 10 ten rushers/featured load RBs. I don't care to have a highly paid featured RB. He gets hurts and it disrupts everything. I'd rather just have a well rounded committee. It's passing league. I mean, even when CMC went completely bonkers and pulled off 1000/1000.....we won 5 games.
  15. I'm not advocating trading away all our good players. We have a lot of very good promising young players. just the RB. The one we never should of signed to begin with. He frankly was part of why the Rhule rebuild was a joke. You don't start off a legit rebuild by making a RB the highest paid players in the NFL. He should of been traded then and not paid. Why carry that over to the next rebuild. No point keeping this a CMC centric O. We need to be building something new. We wasted CMC. It is what it is.
  16. the league is slam full of productive runners that aren't Chuba though. CMC isn't Deboo. 2 totally different players. They just happen to both be diverse.
  17. I don't get it. People assured me Ben McAdoo was a great OC. A TREMENDOUS upgrade at OC for us. We had a real coach now! That he wasn't run out of playcalling in the NFL by being a horrific playcaller who runs painfully predictable stuff. yet those people seem to of.....
  18. What good new coach wants to come to an org that hasn’t won in a half decade, has no QB and no draft picks? It will make us the default last pick IMO any good coach and they likely just wait another hiring cycle. Where you go matters for not only player success but coaching success to. You largely have about 3 years in this league to put up
  19. Rhule likely isn’t forfeiting that much money if he lands a good power 5 gig. Plus there is happiness and his entire future (more money) at play in the long run. Brian Kelly LMAO makes more money than Rhule. Miami, Michigan State, etc all pay their coaches more. With ballooning salaries Rhule has decent odds if someone wants him of getting really good money and no longer being a miserable laughing stock.
  20. A couple FGs. * always the possibility for some type of busted coverage where the opponent gifts us one. But that’s about it.
  21. you mean when we landed a backup center Bozeman and Chubba's backup in Foreman? The icing on the Baker cake. Fitmagic!
