Cade was the #1 QB in the country coming out of HS too though. Clemson has him. Clemson is also adding the #6 QB this upcoming season to be behind Cade. Not sure why DJ leaving is an argument the talent is falling off. DJU was horrible. Just a physically talented kid that isn't actually good at playing QB. 2022 class was top 10. Clemson's 2023 class is presently rated as the #8.

I'm more worried about the DL than OL

Last 6 starts QB A: 56%, 196 yard avg, 4 TDs, 6 INTs, 1 FL, 1 rush TD QB B: 57%, 167 yard avg, 3 TDs, 5 INTs, 2 FL, 1 rush TD * omits Bakers Cincy work and Sams TB work where they came off bench. Last 7 games they played in would have aided Baker's numbers and hurt Sam. Sam Darnold is dog poo. Don't let Baker being dog poo skew that.

I think someone from that division picks him up.

I still think PJ Walker is the best QB on the roster. I think he has been for 2 years. Pedigree is what gives the others the opportunity. And PJ Walker sucks. Don't get it twisted. But I think he is a better overall QB than Sam Darnold. Not by a huge margin but I think overall he sees a field better and makes better reads. I think he is better in the pocket too. Obviously, he does some really dumb stuff with the ball too though. PJ is a 3rd string NFL QB. Which is what Sam is.

Conference titles mean nothing in these rankings No benefit to your conference having it IMO. Just an injury risk. you got Bama, Tenn and Penn St all ranked ahead of Clemson. Clemson got a better record and a power 5 ship. rankings generally have given them real sway. Just be consistent. I mean it doesn’t matter where Clemson is ranked in reality but you got to have a standard that holds true year to year IMO.

Should have had a 4th turnover last night. They dropped an easy one when he threw into double coverage. Pretty rough finish though given the talk. 3 straight losses. 50 something completion % in those with 5 turnovers (at least one each game). But too much gets asked of that O. No QB can be consistent in college when asked to bring so much each week. Also, you can’t have Maye be the teams leading rusher on top of that ask of him. I’d like to see him play elsewhere before going pro.

Like most years, no 4th team really deserves in. Probably can argue no 3rd or 4th team this year. I don’t want Clemson in nor arguing for it But I think Clemson should be ahead of Bama/Tenn. Otherwise, end the conference championship games. They carry no weight and are just an injury risk for teams that are actually competing. 11-2 power 5 champ should be ranked ahead of a 10-2 nothing power 5 school IMO. I’d vote TCU and put them 3rd just to avoid Mich/OSU in the first round. Make OSU play UGA

NIL isn’t even used like it was intended. It’s just bags of cash to play. It’s got nothing to do with a name, image and likeness. It needs to be tweaked.

Cade has been the best QB since spring. That’s not saying a lot because DJ sucks but he wasn’t #2 on the depth chart because DJ was the better option. DJ topped the depth chart because Dabo thought the nation was too hard on a good kid and he wanted to prove the world wrong and reward a good kid for doing all the right things. But he wasn’t starting all year because Dabo didn’t have faith Cade was be better. he is a true freshmen. He isn’t going to be perfect. I don’t expect the 2nd half to look like the first…..but calling him a turnover machine is bogus. Probably a poor time to argue it after the kid scored on every drive he had.

Turnover machine? Cade has 1 INT on the year. He was pressured like crazy in that 17 point comeback win vs Syracuse. he was put in a horrible spot in that ND game for his 1 pick. A defender he didn’t see stepped in front of a pass that was on point.
