  1. Still holding out hope for a FA C. I think to an extent, a rookie C plays against the stability they are trying to create up front for Bryce. Get a WR that can contribute in 2024. A C is going to be a project
  2. I mean, if we actually got rid of the people associated with 2-15 everyone would largely celebrate.
  3. We literally gave up the farm for Bryce Young last year. This ain’t a gut and rebuild. This is just being dysfunctional
  4. I doubt there was a master blueprint and he knew how it would unfold. I mean, weren’t they still negotiating to get something done with Burns when he agreed to stay?
  5. Trade Tepper, Morgan and Bryce
  6. It is what it is and if I’m Derrick Brown? Well, I start thinking of leaving. Why waste your upcoming prime
  7. We just moved up and spent tons of resources on the #1 overall QB last year. This isn’t a hard reset. This is just a poorly run org. but I agree, 2020 should of been a real rebuild. We have never burned it down like we should have. But we still aren’t given Bryce.
  8. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the worst franchise in all of pro sports might not be as well run and functioning as you are assuming…. I think Evero would have bounced if we he knew Luvu, Burns, Jackson, etc were all going to be purged from the poo show org he endured in year 1.
  9. Now is also not later. No way to actually say we couldn’t have got better compensation later for Burns. Burns was literally dealt the first moment he could be. It was cheap compensation. I would have sat on him. If it killed the NY deal so be it. FO is working in reverse we overpay when we acquire like Darnold, CJ, etc and get lousy picks when we deal away guys
  10. All true. But Dan Morgan was Fitterer’s right hand man while all that mess was done by Fitterer. I still think that should have eliminated Morgan from being eligible for the gig. We don’t know how much of the mess Morgan is trying to salvage….was also a mess he helped create in the first place. The fact we have to guess on that is why he shouldn’t be the GM
  11. It’s not an about a starter. It’s just about adding a legit receiving option to our backfield. We don’t need to be looking for a starter.
  12. the Bryce Young pass attack IMO should be priority #1. That an easy/cheap add and part (of many) of fixing Bryce.
  13. A-A-Ron is actually what Scott Fitterer claimed he was adding with Miles Sanders. But no more FA RBs. Build your backfield in the middle of drafts.
  14. twitter talking Corbett might get a shot at C if they miss on all the FAs.
  15. I've been saying it since last season when we picked Bryce. If Bryce is your QB, you need a legit receiving RB in your RB committee. That was a big part of his success in college. Our new HC did it a lot in Tampa. You can throw to Hubbard. But Hubbard isn't a receiving RB. And Sanders has been horrific at it in his career. And the short pass game (RB included) is part of the modern day run game.
  16. probably somewhat similar to a Derrick Brown of the OG world. He isn't a household name but has been playing like one of the better dudes in the league. 62 guaranteed is a lot though. But Carolina is only getting dawgs if they overpay at this stage.
  17. I mean, they still can. They just didn't last year. I think the draft and FA will be telling. You go to alter the skill talent around Bryce to actually be all in on him.
  18. The Panther way. Most orgs tank to get a #1 overall QB type player Panthers get the the #1 overall QB and then tank
  19. Baker got more playoff wins than both of them combined in less time in the league though. I'd put Baker in sort of a different tier. I think his rollercoaster play allows a team to reach a technically reach a higher level than the other two.
  20. well, in fairness, we haven't built anything around Young's perceived strengths. Last year was just random parts and this year we haven't done anything yet.
  21. if we are only retaining dogs.....Derrick Brown and Luvu will be playing 2 vs 11 and both ways all game.
  22. I'd say he is in the running for #2 nobody messing with the GOAT. Sam Bradford.
  23. I mean, we just cut Hurst and Bell.....both carrying 10 mill dead cap. I would have preferred to keep one of them (anyone can pick) and cut Miles Sanders if we are cool w/ those dead cap hits.
