did this game not follow the exact same pattern as the other 2? Close at half. Then they pull away. All 3 games have been pretty similar people are going to inflate the passing yards because of how bad Seattle is on D is act like something changed. Dalton still just at 50 something completion.

Seattle RB just took his soul

Suuuuuuuuuuuure does look like coaching is the problem
CRA replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
Take away the QB….and what you have is a bad team you insert him into. Simple as that. and like I have said since before the season started. Frank Reich should not be calling plays. It starts there. -
We are playing a significantly worse D vs last week. Everyone has put up 30 on Seattle to date.
-
Frank is our playcaller.
-
Worth noting, Seattle’s D has been dog poo giving up 30+ in every game.
-
I’m about to go find that preseason Sanders thread and bump it….where I kept telling folks over and over about Sanders and got poo’d on.
-
2nd week in a row. it’s the 3rd quarter and Hubbard doesn’t have a rush attempt at this point in the game. Frank knows it made Sanders look bad week 1 to let Hubbard in the mix
-
Well, there are different variables at play. Saints have a better D. Life should be harder vs them. still think you need a full game from Dalton before making any definitive statements. Half to go
-
if the question is about WRs getting open and scheme getting them open….I can. Because it’s not relevant to that. It’s a positive of Andy Dalton. He can find busted coverage and take advantage of that. 2 different things
-
Take out the busted coverage play Andy is 59% for 111 yards against a bad secondary. I still say you got to see a full game. This offense in reality isn’t doing much and generally the 2nd half/3rd is where it has really been bogging down for them
-
Still half a game left. Outside of Dalton seeing a busted coverage….no one around Dalton has done diddly this game. Got to see Dalton play an entire game with predictable playcalling, pressure and no one getting open first. That’s likely going to end up going bad for Andy over the course of a full game. 3rd quarter has generally been the bad quarter to date
-
I mean it was busted coverage. Credit Dalton for seeing it. But that’s not Chark getting open.
-
Busted coverage. About the only way our dudes can get open downfield.
-
we invested too much into Bryce to let Frank ruin him in this dumpster fire offense. No talent around the QB and with playcalling that makes me miss Joe Brady, Jeff Davidson, etc.
-
We went from rockstar to allstar
-
They paid good money to bring Sanders in. Staff doesn’t want to highlight the fact Mrs. Rhule’s pick runs better in a trash environment
-
Just got home. Someone sum up the game thus far. Promising? Same as it has been?
-
You are suggesting these two things are the same. They aren’t. Does Bryce have a high ankle? Tell me about the injury. What has Frank or anyone shared? That’s not NFL normal. Every NFL player plays through stuff. Some never see a single game at full health. We had a first rounder before that never saw a game his rookie year at full strength. That’s part of the NFL.
-
Sanders is an early down committee RB. And not great. Good. Philly already told us that.
-
Not for what they are running on offense. they have a run blocking O. They have primarily rushers in the backfield. And they got a cast of #3 type WRs that can’t get quick separation…..in a small ball/shotgun offense. All with that with a boring and predictable play caller. I spoke on it before the season started and folks didn’t want to acknowledge it. Bryce wasn’t being setup for success. And it has started pretty predictable.
-
Not one coach will touch that with any detail whatsoever. That’s not NFL normal. playoffs have nothing to do with this year. It’s a developmental season. The entire purpose of this season is growing Bryce. Not making the playoffs
-
The entire point of having a rookie QB is to develop him. You can also ruin a QB by putting him horrific spots. Carolina doesn’t have a functional offense for a rookie QB to be developed. They flat out don’t have the talent around Bryce for what they are attempting. And Bryce is a HUGE investment. Frank needs to fix the offense is he can actually develop a rookie QB. Life in his scheme is just going to keep getting harder until change happens and that’s not on Young. and I this point, I again go back to Bama. Young struggled above the shoulders when he got to Bama and life wasn’t the textbook show he was used to. They did a special on mental health about it.
