aren’t we the 32nd run D?

we are 28th in yards and 28th in points. this is not what fun football looks like.

well, Bryce not losing games for us and not asked to be a big part of the O.....is how we should be trying to win. so it depends what convo you want to have. How the Panthers should try to win games without a starting caliber QB or do you want to have a Bryce Young convo. To me, that are different convo and you talk about the game much differently. If Bryce/Canales were both average at their jobs.....well, Bryce has a much better stat line in a game like that. I mean, go look what NFL QBs in the top 5-15 do when the run game is really working well. You generally end up w/ a strong offensive day. Which we didn't have.

I don't think they needed to abandon the run. We essentially have to try to win in spite of our QB. Who isn't a NFL starting QB. I don't think this game represents Bryce being good or showing growth. We played a bad team, minimized him and it worked out. That's basically our shot at winning games.

well, it's not like we witnesses some freakshow rushing outing though like we have in our history. We had a total of 306 total yards. You really need to get a lot more from the pass game off a rushing day like that.

you don't get to play the 27th and 29th worst run Ds most weeks in the NFL. this week Bryce will go back to looking like a middle schooler. KC is 3rd vs the run. Which means it will be a couple hours of check downs and sacks.

Tepper already attempted a legit in season tank. But Tepper can't do anything right. So it didn't work.

If we got the #1 I would want to trade it for draft assets. We need to rebuild basically an entire defense minus Brown. I don’t even include Horn because I don’t love the idea of paying a dude off 1 healthy season to stupid money

Ok. I’m not saying we should be tanking which is a front office design… I’m just saying the win today hurts us more than anything. we are right there as the shittiest team in the league. Someone wins. Best team doesn’t win every game. Worst team doesn’t lose every game they step on the field to play. One random play at the end can be the difference. We play any team 3 times and I’m taking the other team. I’d rather us lose. Secure the draft pick with the most value. We have the worst roster in the NFL despite a Giant win in Germany. And we got nothing in the QB room. We could use that top pick

I don’t want him to fail, I just acknowledge he is a bad NFL QB and if the Giants drive the field in OT to win….no one would be complimenting Bryce AND there would not be a single difference in what he did

Nah. The difference between 2023s OL and 2024s OL is gigantic. If Frank has this OL last year…Frank would have been the HC this year. Frank couldn’t make it work with Bryce Young and horrific OL play. Canales has Bryce basically same with really good OL play.

Give Frank Reich this OL and he probably pushing .500 last year Canales needs to hire an OC. Focus on being a HC. He isn’t a good playcaller and has no resume to be pulling double duty like this.

It’s crazy how outcomes dedicate discussion. if the Giants don’t fumble and we kick the FG….and instead drive the field for a winning TD….the TV folks would be calling Bryce trash. a sad 126 yards by a guy that can’t play at this level. But the Giants fumbled it away so now it’s a promising day lol

Is today progress? Or is Carolina simply playing themselves out of the top spots that would actually command real assets in a trade down. Bryce Young wasn’t good. Panthers weren’t good. Giants likely fire their HC. End up with a top 2 pick….and will end up in a better spot going forward than us. This is the way

Daniel Jones is so bad he could just give us the game with a turnover. I hope Dave goes back to Dalton. No enjoyment to watching Bryce. PJ Walker is more entertaining. Bryce isn’t a NFL QB.

Well, there is today and there is building this team going forward. I mean Dwyane Jarrett could come out of the stands and catch a TD pass. We could celebrate the TD. But we could also talk about if he should be on the field for us big picture

but if you only look decent vs the worst of the NFL….does that make you decent? And that where Bryce is, somehow okay vs disaster teams

Ownership and front offices try to tank teams….players play. Coaches can or can’t be in on it we saw the Panthers front office try an in season tank…and the players and coaches screwed them because they still play hard

Some Matt Rhule to Dave. Rhule would talk about running the ball and painfully not. Canales talks about running and every time Hubbard gets rolling he always goes away from it

Yeah your try to draw them offside cadence can’t be something you only bring out on a play to get them to jump
