if Hurney was here we would be getting ready to welcome Etienne. Then he would trade back into the first and pick up Harris. Triple trouble.
  2. 1. WandaVision decent gap 2. Falcon and The Winter Solider ready for Loki.
  3. Probably Pitts. He is a matchup nightmare. Teddy was up right plenty enough to of had a great season if he could of taken advantage of what was there.
  4. all Rhule wants to do is chill out to some Crash into Me and not be hated on. Is that too much to ask!
  5. fug it, I went to several Dave concerts. They were good times. Rhule falls into that same window of time where it was a thing to go to them. I've seen much better bands in person....and didn't have as much fun.
  6. You also do have to factor in that he isn't a scout right now. He is writing for clicks. I mean you can debate the degree of that but it most definitely is written for people on the internet to hopefully read. And the clicks don't come easy at nfldraftdiamonds. So the more controversial, the better. The Skip Bayless approach works.
  7. well, I have made it clear I am not a fan of Urban or the programs he ran. I think the Jags botched that. Urban won in college. Yes. He also created bad environments.....and then bailed when it started coming to a boil. He was repetitive in that IMO.
  8. yeah, Lawrence might not reach his projected ceiling....but the dude's floor is super high. Hard to see him actually busting. I think him coming close to his ceiling will have less to do with the Trevor and more to do the Jags org.
  9. I think you can tell more about arm strength from a 20 yard out route than a 50 yard deep ball.
  10. depending on your scheme and how quickly you want a rookie to play....I could accept a team taking Mac over Lance. Some QBs just aren't fits and are fits in certain offenses.
  11. Well, I admittedly have a strong ND and U of SC bias. But our U of SC picks have historically overachieved IMO. But that probably is more about where they were drafted. I personally think Parsons is better. But like I said above.
  12. He is the best defender in this draft IMO. His potential red flags aren’t about his ability to play. It’s if you can handle a LB that brings a little diva WR element to the table. I don’t make too much of his red flags. Pretty sure Gross Matos was a bigger figure in that little scandal than Parsons too.
  13. I think the other incident was him yelling gun in HS. The whole inciting a riot thing. other than that, I think he demands a certain amount of attention. He isn't going to just quietly go about things like a Luke.
  14. our Gross Matos was part of one of those red flags with him.
  15. where are people buying from? I'm really tempted to throw a couple dollars in for fun. Probably not DOGE but just to see what it is all about. I looked at Coinbase since they made so much news with their IPO but they seem to not give access to buy a lot of stuff.
  16. His only prepped start we went 1-0 and shut the opponent out. Granted, he had help. He had 2 picks with less than 5 minutes remaining down 4 scores in NO. I'm not trying to over nitpick that scenario. His first pick while not a great throw....still bounced out of both Samuel's hands. PJ is aggressive. Look at prime Cam Newton late in games when he got down big. Pick machine because he just upped his gambling. PJ to me, looks better than what we saw from Grier. But PJ does have more post college reps than Grier.
  17. Yeah, people basically have tossed all Wilson's issues out the window. Jump balls, poor decisions, seasons of meh play. And it's...did you see that angle he threw the ball! Mahomes does weird stuff like that!! Then when it comes to Fields it's like... look I understand his team was ripped apart by COVID. 20 guys were out this week. Everyone was out last week and they didn't play, practice and haven't been on a normal football schedule. But I think it is really important we only talk about this game. This is how we have to look at Fields.
  18. Again, I specifically brought up the 2 post season games vs Clemson. Where Field's outplayed Trevor. Clemson is right there with Ohio St in terms of talent/recruiting. Both lag Bama. Specifically, the recent window in college football. And other teams are in that mix where Clemson and Ohio St are too. Largely SEC school but they are there too.
  19. He played against Trevor Lawerence/Clemson twice. Only postseason play he didn't go into the game hurt. He outplayed Trevor at the QB position in those games. There was no massive talent advantage. Clemson and Ohio St during recent times have consistently been right behind Bama in terms of talent.
  20. How did I know we weren't all in on Teddy? I mean to some degree I guess I can read minds......when they sign him to only a two year deal and are ready to part with him after 1 season. That tells you a great deal about their mindset with Teddy. Nothing ever suggested they were all in on Teddy. and there deal and talk about Darnold? Again, it reveals they aren't all in on Darnold. Did they and do they have hopes that a Teddy/Darnold could work out? Sure. That's called potential/upside. That isn't all in. We were all in on Cam Newton. Jake eventually hit that point. Which means they don't get sent packing after a year that doesn't go as one hopes.
  21. Justin Fields' isn't part of the Urban Meyer QB system. So the but he is an Ohio St QB narrative doesn't fly. That narrative was about Urban's guys at Ohio St and they followed the same trajectory that the his guys at Florida did in the NFL. Fields is falling for the same reason Watson did IMO. And it isn't overrated. Some of it is QB fatigue. Fields has been 1b with Trevor for too long. Nitpicking nothing and then giving the benefit of the doubt to others (Wilson). And some of it is simply old NFL coaching staff's simply prefer more traditional QB play (Mac).
  22. We aren’t all in on Darnold. Just like we weren’t all in on Teddy. and drafting a QB means we wouldn’t be all in on him.
  23. you just can't draft Horn at #8 with those guys off the board IMO. means you would be leaving someone like a Fields, Chase, Lance on the board for him.
  24. how is that? We are kicking the tires on Sam. Nothing more. Lance 100% needs to sit. So you would have to have a QB to start if you drafted him. Fields likely could compete with him. Then you can bring him in slowly. Worst case scenario is you end up with two decent QBs on your roster for a cost that isn't bad given one was a draft pick. Much better organizations than us aren't afraid of drafting a QB....and having him sit.
