  1. It's a QB league now. It's why the Jags would part with Ramsey and the Packers will let Rodgers take a massive dump on them and pretend he didn't.
  2. I mean, everything is faster and more efficient than bitcoin and eth. I think Elon is probably doing just as much harm as good in this space. I think Elon will be a factor in why the government comes to regulate the crypto space.
  3. the 2015 Panthers went 15-1 and the 2009 Panthers went 8-8. That’s at least a good sign. Lions sort of distort the list. Lot of playoff teams on that list and a couple Super Bowl squads.
  4. and they couldn’t do 89 better? it was a good vid but the Panthers have set the bar high with their social media team.
  5. Got to think those prices will look much different later on. Panthers just aren’t big enough draw out that way.
  6. probably true. But I don’t think 2015 happens with 89 on the roster. There were pros and cons with 89. It was time to let Cam have the team.
  7. Yeah, but he wasn’t the same dude anymore. Logging 1000 yards isn’t what it was. Robbie had 1000 yards this season and I wouldn’t say he was great. 89 in Baltimore wasn’t the 89 that made his name in Carolina. Same attitude but no longer the same threat. Probably bad language on my part. Should of worded that initial post much better to get my point across.
  8. this is why I never understood Bitcoin and Tesla teaming up. Always seemed like a contradiction. and as smart as Elon is….he seems pretty damn sketchy the way he knowingly swings crypto markets.
  9. significantly? Then why did Kyle win more games than Teddy? And throw more TDs? despite playing in less games...and with a bad OC?
  10. I agree on Moore being underrated. I don't think we have any idea on what his ceiling actually could be....given he has never really played with a QB who could really test that out. Cam's arm was shot and Teddy wouldn't take the shots (then sprinkle in some really bad QBs mixed in for him). That was the pro with Jake. Jake would at least allow you to see everything a WR had in them.
  11. Well, it's just two totally different eras IMO of the passing offense. The rules have dictated QBs and WRs have an easier time completing balls today. That is a major factor in my positioning. and my preference for 2003 is heavily weighted on the 1 and 2 spots. I just think 89 and Moose did some ridiculous stuff given the coverage and balls Jake threw.
  12. I would argue the Panthers org didn't plan on going 1-15 and securing the #1 overall pick when they went into that season. That wasn't a bad team around Clausen. Clausen was just that bad and Fox didn't give a fug.
  13. probably. But he was only an OC running a practice in college. And Rhule has only run college teams. Same for the DC. and I don't think college teams put the same emphasis on things as the pros. I mean, Rhule, Brady, etc are all going to have growing pains that apply to them. I mean, that's normal. I don't think we should be overly sensitive because Teddy might of pointed out a legit criticism as he tries to deflect from his failure here. Ron even commented it was a clear mistake not to have a prior HC on staff when he tried to get things rolling in the NFL. I think it is a safe bet our green staff has learned they did some things wrong in year 1. That should be expected.
  14. I agree. The arm being shot is the question. Even if Cam fell behind last year after COVID and couldn't keep up with what NE wanted....it doesn't explain how painful and ugly the ball looked at times coming out.
  15. the NE team is going to be custom fit for Cam to have success though this year. All depends on how his body holds up. But Cam is clearly going to get a shot and NE is going to have a real team around him this time.
  16. I wouldn't of put money on 89 embarrassing us either....yet it happened. If Cam has one really good Cam left in him....I'd call the Carolina the one that has the best odds though. 89 got us. Ron got us. One guy left.
  17. yep, Manning Jr also has a lot to do with my Horn hesitation going in. Manning Jr only worked playing a certain way. He couldn't adjust and find success playing different.
  18. Cam would have high odds for blood and guts volume 2. 89 wasn't even good that season he put the nail in the coffin and told us to go mow his lawn....keep it clean. I think as Panther fans, we have to hope for Mac.
  19. 2 QBs threw for 4000 yards in 2003. Almost half the league had a QB that did it in 2020. It's a passing league now. You could to do things to WRs in 2003 that you can't do today. I'd call 89's collective 2003 an amazing year. His 2003 postseason is one of the best all time by a WR. Top 5. It wasn't just playing well. 2003 was the birth of agent 89.
  20. I love me some Dan Morgan. Very underrated. But Luke is on another level IMO.
  21. But then you could ask the question....of how much more production could those guys of had in 2003 if they played with present day rules. I mean Ricky Manning Jr was star on that 2003 team because you were still allowed to maul WRs.
  22. why they got to put Sam in tier 6 and 7? They couldn't throw us a bone and just have it be only tier 7?
