  1. Ah, see....often times "we" is used in casual conversation in regards to sports. Really is nothing more than being lazy with the English language. I am claiming no such thing. Lazy with language? Sure. Used we instead of they on a MB. but again, that right there shows your bitterness at this moment in the NFL season. Trolling 101, bruh. Issue is you think your troll kung fu is strong. I don't think you need to pick a team. You have a team. That team resides in the NFC. You have been very clear to stay away from that b/c if you acknowledged what NFL team you root for....well....we know why you haven't.. I get it. We beat your team twice. The Cam stuff probably really gets your goat too, huh. Just gotta accept it and move on. I mean this indifferent claim is cute though...
  2. Huh? Don't know what you are talking about. Like I said, I get what you are attempting to do. It just comes off as a bitter fan whose team got sent packing....and since you are annoyed with all the Panther talk nationally (you come here to try to rain on people's parade for your kicks). I can answer direct questions though. Nothing will change. Carolina will win. I'll enjoy it. Like the Ricky Prohel pic, you a fan of his?
  3. yes, your attempt to talk down to posters as silly fans.... is just simply how you choose to express your bitterness. Your team you pull for plays in the NFL. Yes. and the fact you are a fan of a team we stomped and your devotion here now...shows you certainly do care "who loses". Sorry Carolina beat your team and that Carolina is where you feel your team belongs. But your team lost. They are at home.
  4. why don't you just go to your team's board and discuss what you think they will do with their draft pick since their season is already over? you clearly are salty Carolina is representing the NFC...which is where you wanted your team to be.
  5. My favorite part about tarheels is the vintage Ricky Prohel picture he opted for his avatar. Interesting choice. I wonder why he went with Ricky?
  6. They will still be 3rd in rushing defense...b/c that is how the NFL defines things. so after Carolina runs on Denver just like they did to your team they will still be the 3rd ranking run defense.
  7. Yes, 3rd. Seattle was 1 and we ran on them twice just like we run on everyone. You are now trying give Denver 2 more games (18) against horrible rushing teams to pad their stats and still compare them with the pack who played 16 overall. Which is fuzzy logic. No one was said it was a weakness of Denvers. It was simply said that nothing suggests Denver can stop Carolina from doing it.
  8. I'm not going to rat him out. Up to him. He clearly wants to stay away from bringing that into the equation. But he can't claim to be neutral and not have a team bias coming into play
  9. Well, that is why Carolina is 17-1....bc teams have focused on matching up defensively vs a different type team. Carolina will run vs Den. Then do largely what they do on offense. Carolina's D is built to stop the short pass and play the run...bascially they're built to stop what game manager Manning is forced to do. There one weak area....requires something in the tank Peyton doesn't have. It also is a double edged sword to attack that one weak area bc no one in the NFL comes close to getting takeaways. and that is why Carolina is favored to win the game. out of curiosity, you mentioned you picked Carolina to make it to the Super Bowl after they beat Seattle. So going in...who did you think was the best team in the NFC when the playoffs started? Bc that implied Carolina wasn't who you initially thought would win it
  10. Seattle was number vs 1 vs the run....what did that mean? Name a power run team that has 2 power runners in the backfield every down. Teams don't built themselves in today's NFL to stop what we do. They build to stop the Manning, Brady, Brees, Rodgers etc offenses. That is why Carolina is excelling bc they are mastering what they do and it largely makes stats vs teams unlike them largely irrelevant. Guess who the 2nd worst short yardage run defense is....and guess who pounds the rock for tough yards all game game Sunday? What does it mean? I am a Panther fan. If I go to a Falcon board to discuss a Steelers /Falcon game and want to preach why the Falcons will lose....I won't pretend I don't have my own bias and agenda in the conversation. I will say I am a Panther fan when I discuss it. You? You are claiming you are a neutral party. You aren't. You support a specific NFL team.
  11. He isn't a Bronco fan, he is being honest there I believe. But he has a team and that ultimately is why he is here posting on our forum. Which is fine. Everyone is welcome that posts respectfully. I believe he/she has. We have had great long time posters that have flat out been self proclaimed fans other teams. One was even a moderator.
  12. The top 10 rush attack teams that played Denver...essentially put up both there season averages in pts and total yards when they played Denver. Denver is built to destroy the Cardinals and pass offenses. Carolina is basically the worst matchup they could get in this game....looking at both sides of the ball no team gives the Broncos more problems. NFL is a matchup league more than anything Maybe I missed it, have you finally admitted who your team is?
  13. you should be prepared for that. It will be a heavily slanted Denver crowd. Denver's fanbase is closer and Denver is going to get a huge chunk of the "corporate" crowd which dominates Super Bowl attendance.
  14. I don't think you are a Bronco fan. Sound more like a bitter fan of a team we already beat in the NFC that is already sitting at home.
  15. Yes, pass heavy offenses with okay defenses have had issues winning it all. Carolina is a defensive, running football team....that has lead the NFL in scoring. That makes them legitimately unique. They aren't one of these high flying pass offenses that gets bullied around at the end and has no counter punch. When was the last time a team that ran the majority of the time led the NFL in scoring. You pretty much can throw that logic out the window. we aren't some high flying pass O like Denver was that had no answer to a physical Seattle team. We are the physical Seattle team only we score at an alarmingly high rate based on what rushing teams generally do
  16. Well it is a miracle Denver is in the Super Bowl, even NASCAR fans could figure that one out. Peyton is officially the worst QB in Super Bowl history. No QB has had a worse season and represented a team in the Super Bowl. But I am sure you will tell me this entire season is irrelevant and that Peyton and Marty McFly will go back to the future and Peyton will trade places with Peyton from 5 years ago and totally destroy us.
  17. Sometimes you can just read the tea leaves with sports. Don't even need to nitpick stats. Panthers and Cam have seem destined this year. Now they are here. All season long it has been apparent Manning should of retired. Now, it will show on the biggest of stages.
  18. Carolina could of lost more games....and as a product of that faced more teams with winning records
  19. Here is what most Bronco fans seem to think/say Bronco Fan: Uh, we have the greatest defense. Unless you played Denver your offense hasn't been tested b/c no one in the NFL plays great defense. That is all we need. Oh, and the AFC was so much tougher than the NFC. NFC was so weak. See ya, I have to go watch Von Miller sack Cam in 2012.
  20. End of the day....I think homefield will be the ultimate difference maker. Arians got his ass kicked (then foolishly claimed he had no intention of playing for it to begin with and Cards and fans were desperate enough to buy into that bologna). Carolina wiped the floor with Tampa bc it was important. AZ and Palmer haven't looked good for a couple games now and I think when you look back that week will be the key. tomorrow will show why it matters IMO. I'd give AZ the edge in AZ in this one. Think our homefield aids us in defending them and we do what we do on both sides.
  21. Well based on your avatar selection you at least have some good sense/taste. welcome
  22. my guess, they won't reply until after the game. Then it will be brutal. Natural instinct IMO is for the immediate response but @ Carolina is just at the top of it's game.
  23. BOA is pretty welcoming by NFL standards. In you have a bad experience as an opposing fan it generally would be b/c you went looking for trouble. Some stadiums you really have to worry about home fans just looking to ruin your time. Overall we seem to let people enjoy their hard earned purchase and enjoy the game. A little jab hear or there for good fun is about the worst of it usually.
  24. you may not be willing to admit it until after Seattle is eliminated......but we both know this Seattle isn't on par with the past couple versions. But you know it. That Seattle D has some holes now and that couldn't be said in the past. Wagner and Lane didn't solve them....they just disappeared for a second thanks to Jimmy Clausen and all the garbage QBs you played after Carolina that helped Seattle look good on paper. It is Cam's year....and we both sense it. We can do this my team your team banter if you want. But in sports you often can just see the writing on the wall. This ain't Seattle's year.
