such a great actor. Omar Little was one of the GOATs in terms of TV characters.

Tom Brady thinks it will be….because players won’t be locked down. basically because he expects poor decisions to increase. So when team X travels to random city X… they have the freedom and ability to be exposed to more people vs last year. not entirely sure of what restrictions are on the players….but in normal times players are allowed to do pretty much whatever they want. Strip clubs, bars, restaurants, meet up with out of town friends, etc when on the road.

Rhule just confirmed he is unvaccinated Next up is Dailey, then Brown and they still don’t know he will return punts. So it sounds like there are high odds that someone will be making there first PR of their career Sunday (college or pros)…..which makes the odds of muffed punts super high.
-
Local beat writers know who the 2 are. I’m sure he is one of them given they all are coming out pretty hard with the unvaccinated player protocol stuff.
-
Reports are coaches are really worried about testing this week. Tons of guys went off to college games, parties and events this weekend. not sure what days the testing is for vaccinated guys. Think unvaccinated is everyday. Something to watch late this week.

Week 1 often tells you lies. Hard to predict it. Lot of bad teams look good and good ones bad. Hard to have a lot to confidence in our OL though. And if it is what it is, hard to have confidence in Sam behind it
-
We have a great OL
-
If the Panther OL holds. If it can’t….those sweet Panther matchups at WR begin not to matter as much. Not confident enough in the OL based off what we saw vs the Steelers to predict some beat down . Jets interior DL is much better than the Steelers JV squad
-
He also did the flip side for us https://jetsxfactor.com/2021/09/04/carolina-panthers-mismatches-ny-jets/ 1. DJ/Robby vs Jets DBs 2. CMC vs Jets LBs 3. Moton in the run game 4. Brown inside 5. Burns off the edge but I would assume people would feel he is 100% right about all these though
-
His 5 weren’t actually that crazy it’s the NFL. The Jets will have some individual advantages in certain scenarios.

Can this guy really be "THE GUY" for the Aints

a college accusation. FSU settled the case in civil court for a million bucks. -
CMC was literally hurt all year. If he doesn’t increase our win total higher if healthy last year ….then we should of traded him yesterday. and our D should be improved this year on top of the CMC factor.
-
As a “Darnold hater”….this just isn’t true. Sam isn’t Jimmy Clausen. If our team is healthy….Sam being Sam isn’t going to give us a top 5 pick. We should be able to win around 7 with being NY Sam (pending we stay healthy). You have to throw out 2020. The Jets tried to orchestrate a top draft pick. It nearly worked. It was a legit tank job. They just didn’t pull off making the cast bad enough to get the #1. if Sam isn’t great but merely plays the best football of his career? We should be able to get close to 9 IMO.
-
You right that stats are stats. And they alone, never tell you what actually went down on a football field. you are projecting arguments I never made. I didn’t say he couldn’t of made strides and improved since college. I’m sure he has continued to grow I said it is foolish for people to be pimping Horn as a shutdown corner week 1 of his rookie year. who said he isn’t a dog lol? And I’m the one arguing people shouldn’t set the bar so crazy high for him. I’m clearly NOT portraying that he should be elite out of the gate. That’s unfair to him. That kinda the point I keep making. Just like folks shouldn’t of expected Brown to an Aaron Donald nightmare last season upfront.
-
PFF stats don’t show when he got beat by being overly aggressive and the QB couldn’t make the throw, bad zone coverage by the Gameocks he was part of, his plays that would be instant flags in the NFL, etc. and he is overly reliant on play IMO that gives auto first downs in the NFL. He is the most talented DB we have ever drafted. He should be great down the road for us. But yeah, I don’t expect Revis to be on the field for us this year. That’s not fair to Horn.
-
Horn isn’t going to be prime Revis out the gates. Not sure why people set these unrealistic bars for players. he just needs to show us why he was drafted at 8. Looks like I’ll end up being a Horn defender…once y’all turn on him for not being something he shouldn’t be expected to be yet

see, that is where we disagree. Sam Darnold can 100% look like the exact same guy from NY....and we end up 8-9 or 7-10 Sam's bad isn't top pick bad....unless you the tank your roster.

saying Teddy to date is a better QB than Sam....isn't someone hyping up Teddy.

Sean Ryan on key Darnold improvement (P-Wire's Rizzuti) & my $0.02

yeah, I have never argued that they don't. I'm arguing you don't change their DNA. You aren't going to be able to coach ice water into David Carr's veins while in the pocket. You got it or you don't. You aren't going to be able to coach that crazy ball out of Favre. You aren't going to coach Cam into playing it safe with his body when he thinks the team really needs the play. and if someone is a poor decision maker, hesitant, etc.....you aren't going to change that IMO 4 years into a NFL career. It's been there too long. -

I mean, that is just a coach answer. What were our coaches saying about David Carr and his progress the offseason we brought him in? I got no issue kicking the tires on Sam. Always said that. Again, I lobbied for his to go get him before it was really a thing here. Making him THE plan.....well, odds favor it predictably not working out well. And we would say that about Sam if he was anywhere else projected to start this year. Sam should either be in a spot like Dalton or Mitch T right now. Either having legit talent on his heels or sitting behind someone. -

I mean, guys who enter the NFL can still continue to grow as players. I’m not saying they doesn’t and can’t happen. It obviously does. I just don’t think you can change their DNA. A risk adverse QB will always be risk adverse. Doesn’t mean he can’t get better. Gunslinger, a gunslinger. Darnold can improve. And we can put better talent around him. Don’t forget, Teddy actually had the best individual season of his career last year. But they couldn’t alter his QB DNA. I just don’t think you can change what Darnold is at his core. He isn’t a good decision maker. He is hesitant. He gets jitters. Talented? Yes. And you can put good talent around him and good things can happen. But he will just be a guy IMO. -

Sam Darnold just like last year we got Teddy Bridgewater. QBs don't change at this level. You can simply put different talent around them. Will Grier would look better trying to throw to Megatron than Legatron.
