  1. Everyone has input. My boss asks for input all the time. He gets all kinds of input. You can’t follow everyone’s input. Because it generally is wildly different. Joe Brady isn’t drafting guys and adding free agents. You think Joe Brady that first draft was like, nah….I don’t want anyone in this entire draft lol. Let’s spend all the first round picks on D. I’m good. Matt Rhule has always leaned and won via defense and Snow is his dude. Don’t forget, the Sam input came from Phil Snow. Phil Snow was impressed with Sam and Rhule then began to pursue him because of Snow’s input.
  2. Well, it depends on which Winston shows up. Good Winston? I don’t think we can score enough points. They are stout up front. They will cause our OL and Sam much bigger problems. Bad Winston? We would have have a chance.
  3. Shaq and CMC honorable mentions to Burns and Brown on D. Sam on O.
  4. Can’t really hate on him for the 2nd TD. Good throw. Good catch. Solid coverage. We will get our first real look at Horn this upcoming week. Jets had a rookie QB and a bad OL. Winston and the Saints will actually attack our D. It will show us a lot about the D overall and where we stack up.
  5. 33 would make it a 49 yard attempt. with no crazy wind, weather, or blocking concerns upfront showing themselves early in the game. and yeah, if you can’t attempt a 49 yarder….you need a new kicker. Especially when you aren’t an offensive juggernaut. You miss the opponent is only starting on their own 33.
  6. Rhule showed you with his actions. Again, he punted from the Jets 33. Actions speak louder than bullshit behind a podium.
  7. Joe Brady isn’t making the calls in the draft. Rhule and Snow have been together for a long time. And they made their name and way to the NFL….playing defense with pedestrian offense in college.
  8. I can handle a kicker missing or getting in a funk. this dude just isn’t a NFL kicker. That was the problem that was discussed coming in. and Rhule told you that he knows it….which is why we punted from the Jets 30
  9. Dude has been in the NFL for a half decade. All he has ever been is a super bad kickoff specialist to date. That’s his resume. No team in a half decade would let him kick. keeping him will just lead to her inevitable and predictable….football isn’t that hard. He shouldn’t be someone’s FG on the NFL. and that isn’t a new hot take I have because of the missed XP today. I’ve been saying it ever since we got him
  10. Well we shouldn’t stick with this dude. We should of never gone into the season with him.
  11. That could be. But we still downgraded. And Syle wasn’t even good. this guy has bounced around for a half decade. Either go sign a real kicker or bring in some young leg to gamble with. This never made sense.
  12. Joey Syle was perfect on the day. 7/7 on FGs/XPs. I had no problem moving on from him but as I said at the time….we downgraded. That’s on Rhule. This guy isn’t a NFL kicker.
  13. I haven’t watched it yet….did we really punt on the Jets 33?
  14. I’m talking foundation of the O. The starting OL and QB. if you look at the foundation of the O. The combo of the starting OL/QB combo….it’s one of the weaker foundations in the NFL. Foundation of the D is the DL. Which isn’t weak. And that makes our D promising. We had Burns. We spent a first rounder on Brown. We brought in legit FAs around them. It’s a good front. We literally spent the entire first draft Snow was here on D. Top of the second draft on D. FAs have been solid and focused on that foundation. NFL is a talent driven league. If you suck at something, it’s generally because your talent is weak IMO. We have very weak OL combined with a weak QB. Faith in him improving isn’t really relevant IMO to present conversation. On O, we added depth and skill position guys in the draft (presently that is. Developmental on the OL).
  15. I mean, the last two years we have been investing heavily in players for Phil Snow. the foundation of our O (OL and QB), potentially could be the weakest combo in the entire NFL. That could have something to do with why we struggle in scenarios…..where football is the most difficult. Think too much is falling on a 2nd year OC to simply scheme around such a weak foundation just because their is skill position talent.
  16. NFL is literally already doing what Biden wants other organizations to do. What he is proposed is a non-issue when it comes to the NFL.
  17. Well, we did win 3 straight NFCS titles going into that Super Bowl.... without knowing the future, that seemed like a much more optimistic window of time than present day.
  18. Kyler does have a pretty sweet baseball slide in his toolbox and pulls it out very effectively. He is smarter than a lot of other mobile guys IMO. Largely because he needs to be.
  19. you didn't feel good at anytime when we had Cam and Luke?
  20. Yep, the biggest problem with Sam Darnold is his decision making and what goes on upstairs.
  21. I'll be at a soccer game. I plan to go back and watch it if it is really good or really bad. If they can just manage a win I'll just watch the highlight clip and call it a day.
  22. I got zero issues with him being even keeled and saying the right things.
  23. because then, it's just a job to Sam. The pre-Cam mentality that Newton always spoke of when he first arrived. And I don't want that at QB. QB again, is THE most important piece of the puzzle. and it's not just a job for greats. And in the NFL you need a great QB. So again, why would we want Sam if the Jets game was just a game. Would it be just a game for Jordan or Brady? Or 89 or Cam? Heck, even the Delhomme tier of very good. Or maybe you can name great players who don't really care about getting revenge on a team that just deemed them trash.
  24. If Sam didn't want to humiliate the Jets....why the fug would we want him as our QB? and yes, you also want your QB to lie and say PC things like he did in front of the microphone.
  25. Fix is a weird word. Wentz showed he could be a very good NFL QB. So in theory, you could fix him. Sam Darnold has never been anything but Sam Darnold. So we are 4 years in still talking about can he develop.
