Your starting Quarterback of the Carolina Panthers….PJ Walker

I mean, PJ will at least go down in a haymaker throwing blaze of glory. and the WRs will at least get the opportunity to make a big play most likely. which seems more exciting than Clausen ball even if the end result is the same. -

It will look different. That’s good enough for me for a week at least. PJ is overly aggressive. But it will be more entertaining than scared and shell shocked Sam. and I still maintain, PJ in the Lions game was better than what Darnold has become the last 5 weeks. Not that THAT is what you are looking for. and fug, Barkley. After the PJ show I don’t want to see Barkley. Go find some random kid that has never had a shot before at least to waste our time with. -
I mean we know for a fact they played him with an injured shoulder from the jump. That’s fact. and I don’t believe anything they are going to sell after the implosion of Darnold. They clearly haven’t earned that. NFL front offices and coaches are historically full of poo. And they conveniently have a new injury on top of the one he had….when the whole world is demanding their mistake be benched for poo play?

I agree. Whole lot of crow to be eaten when PJ and the mathematical outcome plays itself out. Every time they start PJ we win. It’s very simple math and we got all these folks talking about what they think they see with there eyes and a bunch of stuff like that. -
I mean we have Sam Darnold acknowledging the injury in the post game Sunday. And it had already been looked into and discussed prior to the game. It was hurt on that Atlanta hit. It was reported on leading up to the game. Which is why he was forced to take questions on it after the game. It’s why he could clarify it was new and different injury and not a re-aggregation of an old injury to that shoulder.

I mean it’s not like a Matt Rhule/Sam Darnold caliber grievance. It really isn’t about Freeman. Just thinking about how this brain trust might over abuse CMC in a lost season and after they have admitted throwing the football isn’t wise anymore. I mean even this year we have seen CMC overused and on the field late in games that were well over.

Everyone in house knew about this injury last week. Sam acknowledged it in the post game and didn’t want to talk about it. will be a fun watch to see jittery and over talking Rhule explain why he could play Sam vs Patriots but has to shelf him now.

I mean the Lions season isn’t over either. But yeah, Freeman actually has the 2nd best ypc behind CMC. Almost a tie. 3.8 vs 3.7. He is by far the most built RB for punishment and that is what our game plan is going to be. To smash the RBs into DLs with a D playing it. do we need him? Again, no. We can run CMC over and over between the tackles. Hubbard too. In a wasted season, I just think you should limit the pounding your future actually takes. Especially the pointless pounding that some games present.
-
You keep talking about passing protection, 3rd down RB, etc …like we will want to attempt that. That’s glass breaking emergency play at this point. I’m talking to finish out a long season attempting to run all game vs fronts playing it. Some good ones too. Our guys are going to get hammered. I’m talking about preserving and limiting hits on guys we actually value after this year. season is over.
-
I think CMC is great and I love Chuba. But if the season is already over? I would want to limit how much damage they take going forward. If Rhule can he will smash them I into D’s playing the run 40 times a week….as we lose? Not a fan of that. Why not keep Royce and grind him some. Spread it out. we haven’t even gotten to the hard part yet lol.

Watch this team go out and beat the Cardinals on Sunday

First play of the game we just come straight out the gate and run Rhule’s fake punt he can’t stop dreaming about using again and again -
I mean, they could call Cam….I don’t see Cam answering the call. I think he will take us suffering as a win for him and keep it moving. Plus he couldn’t trust Rhule and company not to do him shitty once again.
-
Hope CMC can stay healthy. Kinda a weird move based on the current trajectory of things. Way the season is going, we are going to have to pound our RBs into mush and still lose while doing it. Seems like splitting all that up would be wise with a pretty big commitee. And you got to think given the amount we will run into run looks....our guys are going to get dinged up with that approach.

CMC just got activated and Sam cleared the protocols.

well, just because this narrative irks me. If anyone think Cam Newton ever played a down where he let the concern of getting hurt impact his play? Well, you didn't really honestly watch Cam Newton's career. Pretty safe bet you can just take Cam's word on that play and what was going through his mind. His career is pretty clear on the subject. It wasn't fear of a pile of players or injury. -
Realistically, got to see who the Cardinals put on the field to predict final scores at this point. I mean, no Murray, Nuk, Edmonds, etc? Defense having a great game paired with a wildcat might could keep the score down. But I do expect Sam to be trotted back out so I guess they will have to let him pass at some point after AZ builds a lead. And then, well, we all know what happens at that point.

Matt Rhule has lost every game in November except for 1. That's right, time for PJ Mr. November Walker.
