I'm a Cam stan. But Cam didn't land in a bad spot his rookie year. He landed in a great spot his rookie year if you look at the talent that was around him. Not many high draft pick rookies get that year 1. And on top of that, as much as we like to bash the coaches, they were willing from day 1 to mold things around Cam and not trying to put a square peg in a round hole.

I mean, it's also apples and oranges. You are making too much of the fact Cam's name was spoken. Cam also had several pro bowlers on the OL his rookie year, two stud RBs in the backfield, two stud TEs in Olsen and Shockey and a HOF WR. And all those studs around him were veteran studs. Fields wasn't drafted into a place where you he was going to see success. As a team or individually. Where you get drafted matters. Trevor Lawarence wouldn't of looked the same if he found himself in Cam Newton's scenario vs where he found himself in Jacksonville with Urban and no talent.

Cam hated to lose. He lost a lot at first too. Fields isn't in a position where he is going to have any success. He has no offensive talent and is now on his second offense already in year 2.

I mean, in fairness, Fields really didn't walk back much. He stuck with his core thought. It was just worded poorly initially. Fields is young. Fields hates to lose. Fields hasn't lost much until he got to Chicago. And he needs more time in front of a mic too.

Dalton looked like a shell of the average player he was last time he got on the field. Hard to guess with Payton gone, but I think Hill could step in and beat us. But not sure the new staff has the same Hill obsession.

Fields came out apologized for it though. Claimed a little bit of the Cam Newton defense that he is a poor loser and was rushed in front of a microphone to speak to a bunch of reporters he had no interest in talking to in that moment. So Fields is at least self aware his words weren't good. Robbie don't give a fug. I think Robbie is one foot out the door. He probably wouldn't be here if he wouldn't of had to give money back. Think he was ready to retire.

All goes to show Robbie doesn’t even pay attention to anything. I mean even Matt Rhule knows fans have the right to boo and should when it is called for. He spoke on it last year and said he should be booed when the booing was happening.

Even if Baker picks it up, I don’t really want to invest in him anything outside of what you would a random vet that you would be riding until a rookie was ready. I want us to draft a top QB prospect and focus on building an offense around that person. And I want a coaching that believes in that. Not trying to get the rookie QB to fit what what some retread vet OC has done for years.

I mean, talk about a coach putting guys in position to succeed. He definitely does that. Especially in that comeback last week. He dialed up some great stuff.

Probably a couple things. I mean, whatever you want to do but Tom Brady has had work on his face. He probably is tinkering too much. It seems to be like getting a tattoo. Can’t stopX And it looks like he isn’t taking great care of himself at the moment. He is thin and it seems quick.

No, fans don’t have your back no matter what. again, the Rhule era has brought back in the mentality Cam tried to kill. And like Cam or not Cam, had the same the right mentality about winning, fans, BOA, etc.

I’d go be happy. Unless Rhule is idiotic. The difference in salary shouldn’t really impact him at this point. if he goes back to college and only makes a measly 4-5 million a year he and his family would be just fine. And that’s assuming he can’t land a big time college job coming out of the NFL. If I was Rhule I wouldn’t say too long in the NFL and hurt my stock too much more. You can come in and get out quick and just cite the different game and people. But stay too long and you can just be exposed as a clown. And he isn’t far.

The OC version was under a long time offensive HC. That was one of the most over the top micromanagers in coaching. as HC McAdoo actually got to do whatever he wanted with the O. And it was horrific. I also think it is framed poorly to call those career years for Manning. They weren’t really career years. They sucked and couldn’t win. And Manning har to pass all game because they sucked and were always trying to comeback.

Rhule went out and found someone even worse than Joe Brady. I’m at the point I’m just going to blast Tepper. It’s just pathetic how long he is letting this nightmare go. Rhule shouldn’t of been back this season.

we have a weak pass rush. And our best pass rusher was playing coverage on like 1/3 of his snaps last week lol. the league is designed for CBS to lose the battle given a QB has time.

I mean, McAdoo was literally run out of the league from calling plays for being painfully predictable and unimaginative on offense. Fair odds it’s largely just McAdoo being McAdoo. And Rhule being Rhule. It’s not a good combo given what we know of the two

We should of traded him to kick off the Rhule era. We allegedly were in full rebuild mode and yet made CMC the highest paid RB in the NFL. The management is the team has never made sense ever sense Rhule arrived.

Not saying a QB from any school can’t be great. but I wouldn’t call Bama a QB factory for the NFL. It’s been endless JAGs, Okays and busts for a long time. I wouldn’t call Oregon a QB factory because Herbert is great
