You are just reaching because you wish to sell a narrative. No, random Fox announcers don’t have the access and connections of guys who cover a team all season and for years. 95% of the Panthers that are out there are playing for their future. They need to put good individual tape out there for next season to stay employed, get a new deal with someone, etc. You can thing Rhule is a clown and have no faith in him….and still play hard. Most aren’t setup like CMC

Don’t see it happening. While Jim has proven he can coach in the NFL….hard to follow up a Rhule shitshow by bringing in a a guy who has a history of being a problematic HC. Harbaugh has massive red flags. You part with a winning HC for very few reasons.

Eh, most know Cam is what he is at this point. in large part, the unspoken deal with bringing Cam back was to let us have a proper finish to his time here. It was to appease us and let us ride out a disappointing season with Cam because of Rhule’s clusterfug. The miracle playoff finish wasn’t the primary reason Tepper brought back Cam. and they didn’t follow through with that deal. Because as soon as Rhule could squash what Tepper did, he did.

Letting a lame duck HC draft a top 10 QB is pointless. New HC should be able to pick his own QB if tasked with building up a team. If Rhule stays, GM should control the pick and it should be on the line.

Some truth here. If he walked after his injury his odds would be better. Last couple years have been bad for the story on Cam.

Rivera is a different breed than Rhule. heck, there was a clip of Ron defending guys this past week after that fight on the sideline and it had a big reaction (positive). In reality, with Ron....I think a lot more matters than just football and his paycheck. And I think we all want to work for someone that sees that. I've been fooled before. But it remains a pretty safe bet Ron is just a really great person.

Rhule's contract is small pototoes.....given David Tepper is trying to maximize the return in a NFL team and a MLS team. And if Rhule makes Tepper look incomptetent, which he does, that is going to impact the return he can make on BOTH his professional sport teams. and NFL contracts have offset clauses. So unless you are arguing Matt Rhule is going to retire for the next 5 years and not coach......Carolina isn't going to be on the hook for his entire contract anyway. I won't pay a nickel to watch Matt Rhule and Jimmy G waste our time in 2022. I won't be alone. And I won't support his MLS team because of that. And I would have if Tepper gave me a reason to support him. I alone am meaningless. But I won't be alone in that.

Details how Tepper nor the players believe in Rhule. The only counter to that is a statement by Matt Rhule....that Rhule says people totally believe in him lol.

HOF shouldn't just be about what the stats add up on a sheet at the end of the day. for example this post to a degree....suggests Vinny T and Russell Wilson are comparable. They aren't. Vinny T simply played in the NFL for 21 years. 21 years. London Fletcher isn't a better LB and more deserving of the HOF than Luke Kuechly. Cam was a uniquely dominant player. One that stands alone in the modern NFL. That's why he has a HOF arguement.

I always use Dabo as the example. A legit great college coach. But he is a recruiter, culture guy, and motivator. And his formula wouldn't work on NFL players. At all. Would be silly to attempt it. I don't think it is so much about seeing through what Dabo does. But a 18 year old kid and 28 year old family man see everything different in life. Because life is drastically different for the two. In pros you basically just need a respected locker room guy ...who is a great in the moment game manager that excels at gameplanning week to week (X and Os).

voters are largely all media guys. Media has been brutal to Cam since Auburn. It would take him a long time to get in and probably all the guys who covered him to no longer be voters IMO.
