One pick in the top 100 Matt Rhule is trading down to try to mask how they have botched our resources. this ain’t no JayZ. This Vanilla Ice.

Wonder if that is what he thinks we should do or is just predicting what he thinks we will do. again, Fitt game from org who had an all time great secondary. Which to an extent they lucked into. and Matt Rhule’s success has always been playing to a defense.

Taylor won more games each season he has been in Cincy. That’s progress in the big picture. and his win % in the 2nd half of seasons is better than the first half. he also drafted a young hopeful franchise QB in year 2. Rhule hasn’t done any of the things that ultimately brought Taylor back.

They just need to add OSU and Clemson to the SEC. Kick out Vandy and SC. Rename it. I hate ND too much to include them but I guess you could kick out Miss St or someone. That’s basically college football at this point.

If it comes down to KC vs Tampa I might pull for him. I like Allen’s style the most as it is as Cam like as you can find in the NFL.

It all boils down to why you should just fire Rhule though. Now. Rhule can’t attract coaching talent because he is basically a lame duck. And Rhule needs a lot of help because his staff was always comically weak. To work around our QB and OL deficiencies….you need some great NFL coaching. Which isn’t on the table. it just makes 2022 predictable. Just like 2021 ended up being when Rhule made Sam the man. And Rhule and company will take the next year to sign guys and draft guys…..for a team we all know will be over and done with. Tepper just seems to be digging a ditch for no real reason outside of ego.

He was QB coach in Jacksonville the season that secured them the Trevor pick. So basically a team that wanted to tank….rented Ben for a season.

That part of it though. I don’t pay attention to it. And it still found me. Some of his viral videos have simply popped up on my social media feeds when they were being criticized for being idiots. His family seems to really enjoy Patrick’s fame. That’s all. His brother was dancing game day on the roped off memorial made for Sean Taylor for a viral video. And that seems to be a normal day for that group. .

I used to enjoy Mahomes. His brother and wife no longer make that possible. I now find myself rooting against him just for that. Maybe that’s just me.

He might be….that’s the Rhule way. In reality however, we are seeing tonight why Jimmy G and the likes are pointless. And why you also can’t build your team like the Titans around a RB. it’s a QB league. Always a rare year where you might see an exception. But overall it’s about the QB and pass game.

Matt Rhule has gone on record like 100 times that it was Phil Snow that came to him to about Sam Darnold. And then Rhule went and got him. That’s not a secret. Cam was only a Panther ultimately because of Ron. That’s how it works when you have a brand new HC building his team. He is calling those shots. Same reason we didn’t go after Herbert who Marty also liked. Marty has always been a coaches GM. Only time Marty did what he wanted was 2010 when Fox was an open lame duck.

Snow and Rhule wanted Sam and got him. Not Dan Morgan. Cam Newton was a Panther ultimately because Ron wanted him.

Chargers were a winning football team this year….and would have been a postseason season team if a OT FG was missed the last game of the season. we suck. The Chargers didn’t suck this year. Chargers disappointed.

They opted to draft a talented QB and opted to add good weapons around him. that’s the name of the game in today’s NFL

John Fox did a great job with Peyton. It took him a minute. But quickly realized Peyton Manning is his own QB coach and is the OC. Manning, Rodgers, Brady all run the show. They have assistants. Which are the coaches.

Well, Beckham also had the most targets in his career in 2016. To go along with his worst catch %. And the offense stunk. OBJ did have production though. I mean you can over feed a player and while they might still have individual numbers….it’s not actually good offense. A variation of is over feeding CMC. And it makes CMC a good fantasy player but our offense isn’t actually good. To me, that is what the Giants became.

Rodgers was already a Pro Bowler, All Pro and Super Bowl champ before McAdoo got there… I could be Rodgers’ QB coach. Just like I could be Tom Brady’s. You basically just stay out of their way. And not be kryptonite to fug them up.

Rhule was a Tepper, Marty and Drummond hire.

2016 - 26th in points 2017 - 31st in points his teams got worse. He was the play caller on those horrible ones too. And his teams always sucked at running the ball…..which goes against the Rhule narrative that he is the key to a physical running team emerging. his teams lobbed it for Odell and that got figured out. Then he got fired.

Ben was the OC play caller the majority of the time he was the HC in NY. And his teams really stunk on O once the league got accustomed to Beckham Jr.

As a OC he had a weak ground game that got the ball to freak talent Odell. he still largely called the O when he was a HC. Opponents figured out his “offense” of going to Odell…..and his offenses stunk.
