most new HCs.....want to handpick who there career and shot is tied to. That is a thing. You draft Pickett or Howell and then hire a QB who wants something entirely different from a QB? I mean, it's not a thing when you are hired and you inherit Aaron Rodgers or a lesser but well established QB. But yeah, a new hire isn't going to want to "rebuild" with Matt Rhule's new young building blocks.

Rodgers, Watson, Wilson aren't not going to want to come to Carolina and play for a lameduck HC, behind a bad OL with Ben McAdoo running the O. So we can just cross all that off. Do we draft someone? I would say yes if we had fired Matt Rhule. But we didn't. Which means the new HC (off history), will want his own QB. Which makes the draft pick wasted. And we only have 1 in the top 100. We don't have draft captial to trade for anyone. So I say we add a FA vet QB to just get us by in a completely pointless season. Which is 2022

The problem was they gave Tyreek Hill way too much space. That was a great playcall by Reid. Very few can keep up with him when he has that much space to operate with. Bills defenders were kinda doomed on that first play.

Baylor made it into the top 5 pre and post Rhule. Rhule didn't build anything.

Sept of 2019 Rhule signed a massive extension through 2028 with Baylor. A little over 3 months later, he signed a deal with the Panthers. Matt Rhule isn't committed to anything. I don't think him leaving looks any worse than that.

There is no perfect OT But I like the college OT better than the pro OT.

Lot of bad defensive playcalls at the end of some of those games. That Tampa call was horrific. But overall, that was the best playoff weekend of games I can recall ever seeing.

An elite QB solves a lot. Pair that with good coaching? We would at least be a winning team. Need an OL to actually compete for a championship and matter. Watson doesn’t want to come here. So we might as well quit talking about him.

CMC would start until he got hurt DJ Moore would be the #2 on the Bills. Not sure about KC. I think he is better all around than their 2 and 3 but they emphasize speed in their scheme. And he isn’t as fast as they guys. Moton Chinn Horn Gilmore Shaq Reddick/Burns would essentially be starters. If they weren’t they would be in a rotation with no clear cut starter.

Wonder if that is what he thinks we should do or is just predicting what he thinks we will do. again, Fitt game from org who had an all time great secondary. Which to an extent they lucked into. and Matt Rhule’s success has always been playing to a defense.

Taylor won more games each season he has been in Cincy. That’s progress in the big picture. and his win % in the 2nd half of seasons is better than the first half. he also drafted a young hopeful franchise QB in year 2. Rhule hasn’t done any of the things that ultimately brought Taylor back.

They just need to add OSU and Clemson to the SEC. Kick out Vandy and SC. Rename it. I hate ND too much to include them but I guess you could kick out Miss St or someone. That’s basically college football at this point.

If it comes down to KC vs Tampa I might pull for him. I like Allen’s style the most as it is as Cam like as you can find in the NFL.

It all boils down to why you should just fire Rhule though. Now. Rhule can’t attract coaching talent because he is basically a lame duck. And Rhule needs a lot of help because his staff was always comically weak. To work around our QB and OL deficiencies….you need some great NFL coaching. Which isn’t on the table. it just makes 2022 predictable. Just like 2021 ended up being when Rhule made Sam the man. And Rhule and company will take the next year to sign guys and draft guys…..for a team we all know will be over and done with. Tepper just seems to be digging a ditch for no real reason outside of ego.

He was QB coach in Jacksonville the season that secured them the Trevor pick. So basically a team that wanted to tank….rented Ben for a season.

That part of it though. I don’t pay attention to it. And it still found me. Some of his viral videos have simply popped up on my social media feeds when they were being criticized for being idiots. His family seems to really enjoy Patrick’s fame. That’s all. His brother was dancing game day on the roped off memorial made for Sean Taylor for a viral video. And that seems to be a normal day for that group. .

I used to enjoy Mahomes. His brother and wife no longer make that possible. I now find myself rooting against him just for that. Maybe that’s just me.

He might be….that’s the Rhule way. In reality however, we are seeing tonight why Jimmy G and the likes are pointless. And why you also can’t build your team like the Titans around a RB. it’s a QB league. Always a rare year where you might see an exception. But overall it’s about the QB and pass game.
