  1. Well, just lock our 2023 1st and 2nd round picks in a vault IMO. Don’t trade those 2. I like the QBs projected next year better. If we naturally had picks I’d be okay drafting one of these QBs.
  2. Cam is done IMO. The talk from Carolina IMO is just friendly talk to try to makeup for how bad the last departure was. But Rhule wouldn’t even play Cam over Sam last year. Think that did it. Cam will just hurt his legacy here. Go be a speciality option for a good team if you want to play anymore.
  3. Hopefully. I just feel given the state of things they would always find a way into the 2nd to try to improve the morale of things via more players to promote to us. LT was a great pick. But that probably only sells to us hardcore fans
  4. Don’t trade our 2023 picks to get it into the 2nd round. Take a good day 1 and don’t taint it with a day 2 mortgaging our future picks. You did good. Keep it that way.
  5. That would mean future draft picks. I’m a no on that.
  6. only hope is Tepper has gotten so ticked at Rhule that the GM is in charge. And it really does appear this org knows Rhule is at least some sort of an issue. It isn't normal to hide a NFL HC like this org is doing. But the problem with the GM is we might end up with another CB at #6 as he tries to recreate the LOB. I don't actually think that will happen but I do worry about him getting too trade happy.
  7. Tepper - Rome wasn't built in a day. You have to be patient. We want to build this the right way from the ground up. Reality - Panthers wildly go after anyone and everyone. Get rejected. Then wildly go after bum QBs after getting rejected and over pay them and mortgage our future/draft picks in the process. They go around and rent one year vets like Gilmore, Reddick, etc like a championship team would do. I mean, if you are trying to slowly build this things. Gilmore and Reddick are just rep stealers.
  8. Yeah, they skipped over that in the presser when they said the Jags corner was our 3rd rounder. Apparently, the GM didn't want to brag about the very good QB we got in the 2nd round. Thomas Davis is currently scheduled to announce our 2nd round pick. I assume they really want Thomas Davis to get that opportunity. These drafts continue to be about making up for trading away our picks.
  9. I'd say he falls inbetween David and Derek Carr. Like a Carr Bros love child. That's what Kenny Pickett is. And that isn't a going to work
  10. I think the only way we see the 2nd round is via our 1st round pick in this draft or going to our 2023 picks. Might could get in without our first but it would take a couple picks.
  11. I don't think we own a pick in this draft you can package with Robby to get into the 2nd round.
  12. I predict we trade down and a top tier OT falls to us when we do. We end up with a QB and NOT one the top tier OL prospects after 2 rounds...but we do get an OT. Matt Rhule then claims we would have taken the QB at #6 so it was super genius move.
  13. I’ll hate it and I think it leads to more mistakes. I also don’t think this org is willing to put Matt Rhule out there to the world with only Pickett to show for in rounds 1-3. So if they draft Pickett at 6 I think they then start mortgaging our future to get more picks Pickett pick would reinforce the press, fans and everyone to poo on Rhule. It’s not a Baylor guy but it’s still the college connect dominating. And he isn’t good enough to even beat Sam probably out the gate. And he has no big upside you can claim will be coming.
  14. Penning? That would my guess who they are referring to. They might want him at RT
  15. trading back into the 2nd would cost us mutliple picks and likely requires us to dip into 2023. I don't want Matt Rhule using the next coaches picks.
  16. 18 kids in this draft run at least a 4.4. Rookie's put up Robby Anderson numbers pretty often. I just don't see why in this draft you would trade for Robby before or during the draft with all that out there. You might could deal him after the draft.
  17. Green Bay just added Sammy Watkins. They just checked the Robby Anderson box with that. Plus, this draft leans WR too. So why not just draft a cheap kid that runs fast. 9 WRs run a 4.3 in this draft. 9 more run a 4.4.
  18. Ideally a OT will be there at #6. They don't trade back. If not... Heck, trade back to pick #32. Further back in the 1st you trade down the more you accumulate. There isn't anyone at 15 that is going to make us drastically better than at 32. Big difference in trade value chart between the value of 15 and 32.
  19. The Darnold glory games….2 games vs rookie QBs making their NFL debut and a hurricane displaced, injured and coachless team.
  20. Well, people wanted Tepper to come out and speak on specific topics. The ones he was accused of hiding from. Tepper basically showed his face and said no comment in regards to everything people were wanting to see him on. we are dealing with it. Calling his presser a waste of time and nonsense. Tepper can deal with the heat he is getting and clearly is aware of. Same for his coach.
  21. So we are back to wanting Teddy Bridgewater. What is the definition of insanity?
  22. Has Tepper’s way been patient? He keeps saying Rome wasn’t built in a day when his record is referenced. But Tepper isn’t actually patient. Part of the problem IMO. Which has lead to poor decisions.
  23. No one wants him to openly trash Sam like is done on a message board. The only sensible alternative to not trashing him isn’t repeatedly declaring him a great QB. did Ron and Hurney trash Jimmy Clausen right before they drafted Cam? Nope. They also didn’t praise Jimmy as a great QB. That’s the reality lane I think people wish existed here.
