  1. We don’t have our standard 4th though. We traded that one away in the Sam deal. We pick last in the 4th.
  2. Well the you tube chicken wing guy was way better than that old man NFL player that talked for 30 minutes before announcing… but yeah, just have Goodell do it all as he efficiently does it while getting booed
  3. Well, plenty of HOFers got drafted in the 3rd. Likely? Maybe not. But the 2 GOATs came in the 3rd and 6th at the position. All picks are lotto tickets to a degree.
  4. Dang, at this rate a QB might also be available with the 4th round pick. Not the one we have but the one we also traded for Sam Darnold lol
  5. We might be a little thin on leadership too. No offense intended to Zylstra. But that’s a weak welcome lol.
  6. Can probably count on one hand the number of first round picks (top 10) cast off after one season though. It’s a giant red flag. Jags or not.
  7. The team that drafted him cast him off after one season. He might not be a bust….but he is red flag.
  8. I suspect Rhule wants Baker. Fitterer doesn’t. McAdoo doesn’t. Baker seems like a Rhule move to salvage the best record possible to save face and dig himself out of a hole.

    Noooooo

This is just your steady reminder Tepper is full of poo. They aren’t slowly building anything the right way. He strikes out with QBs and then scrambles to acquire failed QBs.
  10. well, it’s being reporter on by legit reporters. So 89 probably is just reading what everyone else can
  11. No cost involved? I’d rather watch Baker. Cost involved? I’d rather lose with Sam.
  12. we don't do that stuff here. Fall in line please.
  13. He scapegoated Joe Brady because the football world demanded a sacrfice and he even managed to do that wierd becaue he waited until after the bye week was over..... and the offense and all it's problems remained indentical. That's not change. big time coaches are what they are.
  14. I mean, I'd put being adjusted to the speed of the NFL aside. Everyone has to come in and get use to the difference. That's a seperate thing. PJ Walker has an edge there. Jimmy Clausen would. QB isn't about being big, strong, fast, etc for the most part. Yeah, Sam has a lot of that stuff. Tom Brady has none of that. QB is a mental game largely. And a game of how you react to pressure. Pending you aren't a freak like Lamar, not saying he doesn't have the mental game but if he didn't......he could just be an athlete behind center and be okay. Sam is drastically behind in that area and why he sucks. He implodes offenses because he fugs up the plays. He doesn't read the field right. He doesn't have the timing right on plays. Sam can turn a perfect play call into a bad play. That's the same problem. And there are rookies every year ahead of him in that department. Sam is a good athlete. Never been a good QB. Never will.
  15. Howell is at least fun to watch. I'm a hardcore no on trading our 1st and 2nd next season to gamble on a QB in this weird window for Rhule. But if they can make it happen without touching those 2 picks or any 1st or 2nd round pick for that matter.....have at it Fitt.
  16. if his 2020 and 2021 seasons were flip flopped he would have been a first rounder IMO.
  17. Depends. If they ask Darnold to checkdown all camp like they did last year and refuse to really play him in the preseason....he will be tough to beat. But there are college kids right now that can do simple things at the QB position better than Sam right now.
  18. this probably is a big context of the Robby trade IMO. I think they made a mistake on Robby. BUT if they are forced to go the Baker route.....I think Robby has to go. Baker has some diva/attitude in him. And Robby's Baker talk was all over the sports talk shows. And why do you want your average #2 WR impacting your front office. Because acquiring Baker probably is more difficult if they want him because of Robby. Who wants to come play QB for a bad team whose WRs are talking trash.
  19. Robby Anderson Contract Details, Salary Cap Charges, Bonus Money, and Contract History | Over The Cap basically a 10 million difference in cap hit pre vs post June 19m vs 9m
  20. oh I don't think Fitt is innocent. I think he has gotten too big of a pass for not stopping stuff he should of. But I think Rhule had the power to do what he wanted when Fitt took the job. I think the walking trainwreck Rhule has been the last year or so has altered the power.
  21. well, there is Matt Rhule literally telling the story about why they got interested in Sam. It started with Phil Snow. Then Matt Rhule.
  22. do you humble professional coaches into being good? Or are we just seeing a bad relationship play out.
  23. but those were all Matt's choices. he could of drafted a guy in his first two drafts. He didn't. There were also better options than Sam. He didn't get them. There was also legit competition he could of brought in. He didn't. He opted to not make Sam compete. Other teams acquired better QBs than Sam for less of a cost. They could of been here with Sam. Beating him out.
  24. they finally bring Matt Rhule out of the bunker and he looks he like some POW they cleaned for the cameras. Just a weird vibe going on there.
