You are right. And it’s why Miles Sanders had his one good season last year as a rusher despite being meh at the rest of the job. The OL is great and teams have to worry about everything else not named the RB rushing. which is why Philly didn’t value him and we overpaid

They sort of touched on it in this broadcast, but injury frankly has derailed a lot of the Clemson WRs the last couple years. I mean take a Justyn Ross. He single handedly won the last Natty. Dominant. Then was hurt. Never really recovered while at Clemson. Turner always hurt. Collins. Lot of their dudes just ain’t staying healthy. So it could be some of that really factoring and not that they don’t have talent coming in at WR.

I put Michigan slightly out of that tier and in the next in terms of this CFP era…just because they have never won a game in the end. But it’s splitting hairs probably. In fact I might would have to put them alone on their tier because I don’t love lumping them in with Notre Dame, OU and the likes.

They all have set absurd bars that basically can’t be consistently met. Football is always going to be football. Which means poo is going to happen. I still consider those 3 and Ohio St the cream of the crop in terms of programs. They might have hiccups and one season wonders pop up but I think are all in good shape.

People ain’t as quick to jump on the Bama and UGA dynasty’s are over talk as they have been for Clemson.
